Gefle will struggle in the bottom of the table this season. They are in a bad spot at the moment with injuries in all parts of the team and their roster is not deep. They've lost 1-6 2-6 last two matches. Despite being up 1-0 in the first and up 2-1 at half time in the second game (at home). Full blown collapses. They are also normally very bad away against top teams like Elfsborg.  Over this and the previous season they've played 9 away games against opponents favored at -170 or more and lost 8 of them, only drawing one game 1-1. The rest of them all losses with 2+ goal differential. 6-1 3-1 3-0 3-0 2-0 1-1 5-1 5-1 3-1. Against Elfsborg last year? 5-1 loss.

Elfsborg started quite poorly this season but have a great offensive lineup and now won two straight games being in 9th (of 16) place and 6 points behind first placed Norrköping. They won their last home game against Djurgården 3-0, who are a better team then Gefle. Elfsborg have won five straight games against Gefle (home and away, although 3 of them 1-goal games). They will have a lot of possession against a Gefle side that will defend the draw and try to counter attack.

This should be a 2-0 3-0 3-1 kind of game with potential of even more. Elfsborg will look to get a 3 game winning streak started to boost some confidence and head for the top places in the table. Elfsborg are -333 favs but we'll take the -1.5 handicap at -110.
