Fading the braves hard on this 10 game road trip. They have KC, Pit, then Phillies. I think they lose every series which means money for me!
Tonight I'll take Kansas City -1 1/2 @+110 This braves team is built to lose. They are waiting to call up Dansby and Albies. They are fully looking for 2017 and possibly looking to move coaching positions around. Don't be surprised if they pull the trigger and move Chipper up if he wants the spot. Fredis days are numbered. Wasn't a good coach from the beginning. He won't have fight left for his job. This team won't win 60 games. I'm an Atlanta resident and see it 1st hand. The Phillies game they most recently won only had about 12k people in the stands.

Been following this thread for awhile now, and I finally want to jump in with a play.
$$$$ HOUSTON/BOSTON OVER 10 $$$$
Both teams can hit the ball well, as evidenced last night. The Red Sox have been on a tear lately and are not showing signs of letting up. After giving up a 4 run lead last night, I see the Red Sox coming out really hot, wanting to take a lead that they won't give up. Only problem with that is their pitcher - Buchholz the bum. He had one good outting vs. Toronto (not saying much based on how their bats have been swinging). In his other 6 outings, he gave up 2 runs (once), 4 runs (once) and 5 runs (3 times). It's a clear day with 10MPH winds in Boston so the ball should fly pretty well.
Now, here's what really tipped the scale for me to make this a $$$$ play and post. Jackie Bradley Jr. has been in the 9 spot, and on a 19 game hitting streak. I've been following JBJ since he was at my alma mater and helped bring us to the national championship. He's finally having his year and is on a roll. Why do I care so much about JBJ today? He'll be batting in the 2 spot today. First time to my knowledge that he'll be at the top of the order. We have Mookie has the leadoff, JBJ, Bogaerts, Ortiz and Hanly. Love that top of the lineup. Not to mention the usual suspects will still be in the lineup (outside of Pedroia). With that order, even if the bottom of the lineup can't string hits together, the batters I just listed will get the bats rolling.
I'm also on Cubbies RL, CWS RL, Nats RL (second game), and KC RL. Normally only bet 1-2 games a day, but really like the card today. Good luck.

I don't know very well the Sweden League, but I know soccer, I,m watching the match and the fowards are pretty bad, anyway 2 goals in the 2nd half are still possible cause there will be more counterattacks and fauls close or inside the penalty box

The Yankees' lineup today is 3-31 vs Quintana. Nova has pitched well against the White Sox in his career, including no runs in the 1st 5 in the one time he faced them last year. The total moved from 4 1/2 to 4 before I decided to take it . At the worst, I expect a push.
Good luck to everyone today

I took NYM this evening. Unfortunately I was late to the party and got it at -127. Mets have owned the series in recent years, losing last night for the first time in the last 12 meetings against the Rockies. Mets' starter Verrett has been excellent every time they've given him a chance to start, and he is a rare commodity in that he has had success pitching in Colorado (albeit limited). His only start at Colorado was last year, where he went 8 innings and gave up 1 run on 4 hits.
On the other side, Butler for the Rockies is off to a good start on the season for a Rockies pitcher (3.86 ERA), but both starts were away from home. At Coors, he's got an ERA of 6.80 in 41 career innings, and he was pummeled in his only previous start against the Mets, giving up 6 runs in 4 innings in New York last year.
I think the Mets come out motivated, and I like Verrett. He seems to be doing what Kris Medlen did years ago for my Braves. They give him a spot start here and there filling in for someone that's injured or needs a little rest, and he uses the opportunity to build more and more trust with his teammates and coaches until they have no choice but to give him a spot in the rotation. Hopefully he proves his worth once again tonight. Best of luck to all.

Damn. Awful game really, Hammarby were horrible in the first half. Kalmar missed a wide open net in the second half but other than that there wasn't really any quality chances to get that third goal.. Hammarby lost a striker to injury late with no subs left, and had to finish the last ~10 minutes with one man short. So they parked their bus in front of their keeper and tried to kill time and get away with 1 point. Unfortunate really, both teams should have went for it otherwise.

Parlaying two pitching heavyweights in Arrieta and Strasburg. Taking Cubbies and the Nats. Not a lock since opposing pitchers are pretty decent. Quintana vs Nova also looks inviting but too conflicting for me since I am a fan of the Pinstripes.
Boston let me down last night!!!

Yesterday's pitching match up featured a Pirates pitcher who had decent numbers against the Cubs. Today, we have a Pirates pitcher who's been demolished by the Cubs, not to mention a Cubs pitcher who has dominated the Pirates. They win by 5 yesterday. I don't see how it can be closer today.

Nicolino gave up 7 runs against the Nats last year. 3 of them came in the 1st inning. He shut the Nats down the next 4 innings. Strasburg shut the Marlins down completely his last start against them. I don't see 4 runs being scored in the 1st 5 this afternoon.
