The curse continues. Simon was awful. Cano was 1-2 with an RBI single and RBI sac fly off him. Reds got to Miley early. 5-4 after 4.5 innings, and still can't get a win on a posted play. Four more scoreless innings from the Reds' pen today, including the ninth where Cano came up with a runner at third and one out and promptly struck out. Three perfect innings from the Mariners' pen. And we're left with a push...

Whew! Nailed the Mets/Mariners parlay.  Cinci jumped out with 3 quick runs early.  Getting saved lately by late inning rallies. Been getting away with using some flawed pitchers on my investments.  Can't rely on crappy teams living up their label all the time!!

Won about 4 in a row now but I go through some nasty cold spells with the ML Parlay thing...

Par_Laid - not sure if NBA money lines allowed as $$ pick, but it is an intriguing play regardless.  I am debating whether to take the ML or just buy down 1/2 to get GS -3.

newmi - tough break with the soccer games.  That just means you will win the next 8 games though.

@Thread - I woke up late this morning (with a not so tiny hangover LOL), and I missed betting all the morning games.  Sucks, I would have taken Texas as well.  Nice win for ya Pimp.  I also agree that Bumgarner is the play today.  My Cubs series bet is in trouble here, so I hedged out of it with a bet on Giants.  Guaranteed to lose 1/3 unit so not terrible.

I did manage to get a bet in on Yankees over, but I took the F5 over instead of the full game. 

nature1970 - As others have mentioned, it is Hendricks on the mound and not Lackey, unless you know something that we don't.  I only listed Bumgarner on my Giants bet, so Cubbies can throw whoever out there they please I guess.

chuckles - I like the San Diego Padres as well and already locked it in.  I had them yesterday as well, not sure why Dodgers have been such big favorites every game of this series, other than their name recognition I suppose.  Their starting pitching is whack outside of Kershaw.  You are right that Maeda has regressed the past two games.  Dodgers bullpen is not good either, plus their bats like to take a lot of games off. 

Another bet I am looking at is taking Rea vs Maeda in innings pitched.  Rea is getting an inning today, although the juice is a bit high as a result.

brackson - sorry buddy, you should have won that Seattle over 9.  I ended up not betting it as I woke up too late.  I would be a bit frustrated as well seeing no runs scored after the 5th, especially with Reds bullpen so horrible.  Tough way to push!  Look forward to your next play though.

nfl_brosuf - I am looking forward to Monday as well and reload of our $$ play lottery tix.  After being in a bad slump for most of May, this past week has been very very good to me.  I'm hoping lady luck is back on my side for a good long stretch as we get into Summer.

@Thread - Anybody have any thoughts on the NHL game tonight?  Where is Matt2268?    That Tampa game 4 was wacky, and now Pittsburgh is going with old man Fleury at goal instead of the kid Murray.  Interesting to make a switch like that now.  I have my Tampa series bet +170 that I keep hoping will hit, heh. 

Speaking of lost souls, whatever happened to Kosmos?  He showed up out of the blue and dazzled the board with a bunch of big + money dog bets that hit at a good pace.  Overall record is .500, but if one had tailed every play they would be up a few units for sure! 

Brackson  That is unreal....especially with a hit and error in the 9th inning for Seattle  Man on second with no outs....how do we not get a run with Cano, Cruz etc  At least you pushed!!

I don't remember seeing anything against ML's in the thread just no manipulations, parlays or juice more than -150 (technically it was -130 before the MLB season, so that's why I said I'm kind of cheating.) I listed some other plays as well if the thread doesn't think my play is kosher, I'll change it. Just trying to make that $$$$, the record is just a pat on the back.

Today might smell like free money thus why the spread is super high for them pitts squad.

We know that pitts is hard to beat at home.  They are here because they have dominated the home stance which helps out their overall record.  They have won 22 of the last 28 games at home. 

The home team have won 8 out of 11 in the series.

The pitts squad is out of this world.  IN game 4, they were down 4-0 but in the 3rd, they were able to get 3 goals.  That tells me that the pitts defense needs work but their offense can get explosive. 

Pitts is an offensive driven team.  They ranked 3rd in the league in offense.  Bolts ranked 13th. 

Tb struggles playing in pitts  2-8 in last 10 games in pitts. 
Pitts is 7-1 at home against any teams with a winning record.

TB is playing without their best 2 players Stamkos and Bishop.  

Now imagine this.  It is like cavs is playing without lebum and kevin love against a full high octane offensive squad of golden state.  Think the cavs can win without them?

Play the no OT regulation win for RNor. at -175. I'm up $1500 from Canada winning the Worlds double win for me cause I'm Canadian and glad they repeated. Will play this for $500. Have a good end to the week all.

No worries as you say, I just thought I remembered somebody taking a NBA ML before and told it could not be allowed.  However, I think that was during NCAA march madness and before MLB started where the rule set was tweaked.  Frankly, I think anything should be allowed as long as it doesn't break the -150 barrier.  I took another close look at the rules posted at the top of the thread, and it actually says no props allowed.  Oops, looks like I have been breaking the rules ha ha.  They are being counted though (winners and losers), so I suppose some rules are meant to be broken.

As you say, it is all about the sharing of knowledge and trying as a group to find all the best plays and make some money.  I absolutely share that sentiment.  Leader board and/or tracking $$ plays is secondary.  All I know is since this daily thread started back in mid-March my account has seen a very nice boost to the bottom line.

I ended up taking GS -3 (bought 1/2 point).  Hopefully GS wins going away so I don't have to sweat it. 

nfl_brosuf - thanks for your thoughts on NHL game 5 with Pitt/Tampa.  You are right to point out Pitt's dominance at home.  I just think it is strange to go with Fleury all of a sudden.  I wish Bishop was playing for Tampa, his replacement is not inspiring confidence in me anymore.

I think Par Laid is ok with his $$$$ play...if we allow lines written up in Turkish Bath Houses for  Swedish Hockey/Soccer (lol) , we might as well take an NBA play.

I agree, -200 for an NHL team is hard to swallow no matter how well they have been playing at home.  The over 5 might be a decent play.  I do not have much faith in the backup goalie for Tampa, and now Pitt is switching goalies as well.  Seems like either team is capable for exploding with a few goals any given period.  I have been doing bad with NHL though, so by all means fade my over play.

Actually, check that, I see the over is juiced up to high heaven for this game.  Guess everybody had a similar thought to mine.  Hockey is so random, I will just stay away.  Every time I think a game will be high scoring is exactly when it finished up as a 2-1 game.

This is a 2-2 game.  How important is this game and who wants to win tonight?

Had tb had their 2 best guys, I would play tb all day.   TB owned pitts in the regular season, winning them all 3-0 and that is with their healthy squad. 

bolts are already ranked 13th in offense and without their shooters, how far down the ranking will they be? 

tb might be a value play based upon line movement.  I am seeing a reverse one in that game in favor of tb.

My play is based upon the home field advantage which then is little help since tb beat pitts in pitts during the regular season.  I am also betting on them missing 2 crucial guy and check this out, their game 4, these 2 guys were missing in action and they beat pitts anyway.  The problem?  Poor goalie for pitts. 

With a changes in the goalie assignment is actually a plus for pitts.  At a 2-2 game, the stakes are hot and if everything else cancels out, pitts still has their fans on their back which is a huge added plus for the pitts crew. 

If pitts loses tonight, the game is going back to tb with a 3-2 lead and tb will advance. 

So I am betting on a hungry pitts squad that has not lost to a back to back games since January. 

Adjustment is the key.  Give sounding defense and no way bolts are going to win.  Give the bolts a lead as handicap goals and there goes your ball game.

With adjustment, a repeat of an ugly game 4 will not repeat itself.  No back to back loses to these pitts crew. 

I have said a lot about the pitts squad and I have little to say about the bolts because there isn't much to say about them. 

I'm betting with confidence to go into monday with some serious money to shoot. 

Bottom line, it is still a gamble no which ever way we see it but it is better than tossing a coin to predict a winner.  At least I see see some values in my play even if I lose to a fluke of nature.

Here's my input on tonights game. This arena will be rocking no doubt about it. Thunder will be running and gunning with Durant and Westbrook. The problem is when you play that way with a team who can spread the floor and has 5 players on the floor who all can light it up makes it tough. Thunder came into Oracle game 1 and stole home-court. Golden State returns the favor in a close one. Game 2 showed us something warriors giving 3 on the road is a safe play.

I'm with you on the play however, do allow me to share something with you and those who reads this. 

When gs gives a small spread like that, something is bound to happen.  They don't just give small spread for nothing.
