I'll be posting MLB plays based on momentum, whether it be runs scoring, pitching, bull pen performance or rest. All plays will be based off of nothing more than momentum. I've done something extremely similar to this last season across the street but was unfortunately banned due to success and me just not tolerating losers and trolls.
I go by the name of CharliesHustle2 elsewhere for those interested. All of my systems have been backtested using SDQL and I don't play any system which was not profitable for at least 4 seasons and 200+ plays per season.
My athletic background is indeed baseball. I played semi-pro ball up until two years ago, my primary position was catcher. I've coached and assistant coached national teams overseas and understand the game. My professional background is consulting and I have successfully traded FX and warrants dating back to 2001.
I do not "trade" or bet with emotions and rarely watch games I bet on. I expect to play about 600-800 bets this MLB season, which should break down to about 3-4 plays a day. My sides to totals ratio will be about even.
Feel free to ask any questions an let's try to keep it mature in here.
Oilcountry, you out there bro?? You should know who I am.
Cheers

The
strategy: Play home favorites off of a
walk off win where they scored first and it is not game one of a series. Do
not chase, play either the run line or the money line, but not both.

I posted one of my systems here. And will also be playing it in this thread. It's pretty simple, straight forward and very profitable:

C...I know that in your previous odds based system from last year one of the issues was knowing when a play qualified as they were based on closing odds. I’m wondering if you ever checked into the same strategy using killer opening lines?

Oil, I have that figured out. I will be posting target lines and we'll use Pinny closing lines to determine if a play is official.
Good to hear! What are you using to determine target lines? Pinny close? Will you have those plays under this thread? What is the MM strategy for 2018?

Exploiting umpires and their habits:https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/sportsdatabase/FjmvrN-jLOwI can add some of my strategies/queries here if anyone is interested. The one above is currently on a 197-80-13 streak!
Hello, I'm a 61 years old from Belgium and betting on MLB is completely new to me. So, i'm very interested in your strategies/queries. Just wanna learn as much I can. Thanks and good luck.

C_ have you been able to backtest using the pinnacle close to qualify plays, or is this still based off of Killer? This concerns me as all previous backtesting is killer based. I'm set up to use Pinny exclusively but this will be my first season to create an odds database to monitor results. Hope it all works out :)

I added an additional 10 points buffer in order to assure that the pinny line is at or lower than the k'sports line. backtests were all using SDQL. But their lines are close enough to pinnys.

Nice I was looking for something where a bettor would play the referee/umpire/officials angle. Wanted to in NHL but you don't know who is reffing until puck drop. I'll take the opinion of a former pro baller seriously. Looking forward to reading your insight Charlie
