Giants are probably going to miss the playoffs entirely as San Diego makes a run and passes them.

When the Giants won their 3 world series in 5 years 2010, 2012 and 2014, they had a young stud named Madison Bumgarner who tragically washed up even in his early 30s 

They also had Tim Lincecum.

 I agree. They could get Verlander but there are no hitters available that would make an impact. Dejong or Grissom are not the answer.

Can they make the playoffs? They have 47 games vs possible playoff teams and division leaders. 6 teams are within 5 games and there are 4 teams within 1 game. Tough road ahead for them, but you never know. Injuries could play a part in the final 2 months, and still waiting on last minute trades. Still have 23 hours and 15 minutes as of my comment.

Giants fan here… and no .. kapler is on the list of worst managers in baseball .. a born loser .. giants have a triple A lineup .. really good bullpen and a rotation that is teetering on crumbling .. I don’t see this team making the playoffs
