This is just my opinion so take it as you want. I think the Dodgers will lose SU in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if Max doesn't get through 4 or even 5. This has bloodbath written all over it. I think Max in his last 2 starts has given up a sh*t ton of runs, now he's just going to turn it on? Can it happen yes, do I believe it will happen, no. That's why I'm risking $500 on STL Cardinals +195
Good luck with either side you take. Lets play ball

dont care about his last couple starts, they are glad to skip over those so he can bring his A game here.
home team wins in both wild card spots,
book it. its the fucking cards at the end of the day., they always make it to the wild card and blow it. no differnt here. we talking about the dodgers not the yankees.

The Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball, however, everything resets when you hit the post-season. Max Scherzer for the Dodgers has been lights out since being traded there with a 7-0 record in 11 starts. He’s 2-0 vs the Cardinals this season giving up 0 runs in 14 total innings.
On paper the Dodgers I think undoubtably have the better talent, and with home-field advantage I like them to cover the spread.

just needed to add a little more,

Scherzer has literally given up more than 2 runs this year 6 times, that’s it. The guy is as good as it gets and at his age ya can’t complain. His last start against Colorado well he’s just had bad career numbers against them so. And the Padres he’s given up some runs to this year, 4,5,7 runs. Hard to lay that price on the ML and there’s not a huge pitching difference here so it’s not worth playing the RL on the Dodgers. Hard game to cap but if I had to play something it would be the U7 1/2

I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

Wainwright's # against the projected Dodger lineup is 0.268 , 18 hits, 0 HRs, 6 RBIs, 1 BB
Scherzer's # against the projected Cardinal lineup is 0.159, 15 hits, 1 HR, 4 RBIs, 2 BB
Scherzer has the advantage of course. If Wainwright can hold his ground and if Cardinals can get a lucky home run out of Max then this ball game is wide open. Max is prone to giving up the long ball. Both pitchers haven't quite been in good form last several games. Could be a surprising Over. Maybe 5-4, 5-3 type of game? Everyone expecting pitcher duel? 7.5 Over is even money. Hmmmm
Only thing to worry about as a Cardinal backer are the Dodgers hitting. the hitting has bailed Max last 2 games.
Sip on that plus money honey!
