Hey Shawty...the Rays/Orioles went OVER in Game 1.  Based on Semper's posts on another board, he is definitely on the Rays/Orioles UNDER tonight (in Game 2 of Series).

Not much for me today. Texas, Nats, Reds, Padres have all their -1.5 chase.

St. L must be thinking ahead of their series with the Dodgers. Do they get swept by Padres? 3:00 day game. Which is weird bec. Padres have day off tomorrow and SD to LA is about a 2 hour bus trip.

Missed Semper's plays but I already had KC. Nice hits Semper with KC and Baltimore! The way I understand it he will play on Tampa if they become a dog in future game of series. I am not sure if he is chasing the under on Tampa but he is definitely on it tonight.

Total of the day lost, now 23-19-1 on a 5-15-1 run. I faded last night and hit the over 9.5 on Texas (just barely).

Today's total has not been posted as of yet. (Darn it!)

I managed to hit with SF jump-in yesterday but am a little concerned now about Atlanta but they are a nice dog today. Someone said Lohse has been good for STL but I knew I should have stayed away from going against the red-hot Padres. I will stay with ATLl and STL since both are small plays.

McShady, do u think the Mets can avoid sweep at home and get the win on the revenge scenario or have they packed it in for the season? This is another one I am looking at.

The 60% angle since 2000 season for Thurs nite NFL will be on the over 51 on GB/Chi. This play says to bet over when good teams (won 10 or more last season) play division match-ups in September. This went 1-0 in week 1 winning with Balt OVER on Monday. Note only one team has to be a good team, as Cincy did not win 10 or more last year.

I am posting this now, as new thread with start on Thursday and you can watch for line movement.

Here's one that sounds good, and it's an under play.

The under is 4-1 in San Diego's last 5 against a right-handed starter, and 6-2 in their last 8 games against a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. Also, the under has cashed in 5 times in Richard's last 7 starts overall, and 13 times in Lohse's last 17.

Angle, More info NFL Thursday gms,  Home teams on Thursday after both played on Sunday are 55-40-2 ATS Since 1989, When the HT is  Favored, the favorite is 37-18-2 ATS 67% . The Under is 56-41 & in gms where the Home team is favored , the Under improves to 38-19 ( 67% )

None of the current Royals roster ever played with Mike Sweeny.

Just think, there must have been many Royals that played with Mike Sweeny during his long career.

I've always wondered if Mike's wife knew about it...LOL

(Would you have gotten the joke if I hadn't mentioned his wife? Come on, be honest.) On a local Dallas station they used to ask KC players during interviews what it was like playing with Mike Sweeny. I know it's a corny joke, but it's pretty funny listening to it when the player has no clue that it's a joke and you already know it.

RLeith, great info! I already knew about the unders hitting pretty well on Thurs nite because the public would pound the over like they usually do on Mon nite. I was just posting some info on angles that I found with certain situations for September only. It won't be a large play for me. I am a Packer fan so your home team covering % is certainly tempting and makes sense because of travel, except the Bears aren't far away and there is the rivalry factor so the Bears will be amped up and the Packers should be ready to show something after that piss-poor performance Sunday.

Haha Piss poor? I thought u watched the game. That was the best the Pack could have played against one of the best orchestrated teams in the NFL. Rodgers was on as usual. You def sound like a blinded homer.

Maybe disappointing performance would be a better choice of words. You are right about Rodgers. I just thought they were supposed to be upgrading their running game and it's actually worse. I don't think all of their other running backs were hurt but I saw way too much of Benson. I don't know if Starks played or is still on the team.

I thought play calling was less than desirable. Especially on a 3rd and 1 you really need to convert and they throw the bomb into double coverage instead of going for a first down. I did try to watch the game but honestly I fell asleep off and on the entire second half.

I knew they were in trouble when the 63 yard field goal ended the first half. Reminded me of the Giants intercepting and scoring right before halftime in their playoff loss last year. No momentum going into the second half. I still don't trust their defense.

I do agree that SF has got a good team, especially with Gore running and their defense is stout.
