I understand. PIT had a good 1st half last year and then fizzled, but this year seems different. we shall see!

these series chases are killing me.  risk alot to win a little.  with 100 dollars first game bets, if i win 7 series and lose 1, i break even.

breakeven,maybe chasing isnt for you,it takes a lot of fortitude to do it.why dont you just straight bet after break for a while.

Hell i dont even do it,but i like reading the thread.

rule of thumb... DON'T chase bad teams... look at previous W/L and if you see a team has a potential of losing 7 times in a row because they have a tough schedule ahead of them, then don't take them

i chase good teams even if their lines are high favors. so far though if you would've chased the rangers their last losing streak your bankroll is shot but any real gambler would have seen that they gave up for the allstar break and backed off, not to mention to begin chasing a team at -200 is ridiculous.

friend of mine takes every underdog, every day, every game for $150 each and only had one losing week. one week he was up over $4000. i dont have that kind of bankroll because thats like $2200 a day but at some point a team is bound to win

JimmyBeans I had that idea too, what if i bet all underdogs, would I come out on top?  so it does work then, i might try it with smaller amounts.  idk about the second half of the season though, but look at Colorado beating Nats twice, thats some good money right there.  maybe the teams are getting closer to each other competition wise, and wins and loses will go back and forth, not so lopsided.  Idk we will see.  i like the idea though, Dogs !!
