I've looked for a college forum a couple times now so glad to find this thread! I'm a Tennessee Alum and therefore very biased but I'm also pretty knowledgeable too. Also have decent knowledge on the rest of the SEC teams in Omaha.
One of the big stories leading into last night's game was the dominance of FSU's ace, which is a very valid point. But Tennessee has been smashing lefties the past few weeks so I was pretty confident going into the game. I wasn't wrong about our hitting but what I didn't expect was our early pitchers getting rocked to the tune of 9 runs in 4 innings. Pregame I had taken TN at -1.5 in addition to a ladder of higher alt spreads (you can bet these on draftkings pregame). Obviously all those bets lost but since I'm such a homer I took 3 live ML bets (+195, +550, +1400) and ended up cleaning up ridiculously on the night. Not saying those were sharp bets but dang that was one hell of a game.
I was on KY today and definitely thought that was over going into the bottom of the ninth but somehow squeezed that one out as well.
Tonight I like Florida. I took ML, -1.5, and a sprinkle at -3.5 @ +350. The only issue with taking FL is that they won't have the chance to win in walk-off fashion lol.
Tennessee's best pitcher, Drew Beam, will be on the mound tomorrow evening and although we used a lot of pitchers last night we definitely have the deepest bullpen of the tournament. I'll be on the alt lines again when they are released on DK sometime tomorrow.

Still disappointed about last night. 28 strikeouts. WTF. Both teams couldn’t have played worst. Especially with runners in scoring position. Word to the wise take overs in both those teams next matches. I got 9.5 but went to 11.5 before first pitch so these games have tremendous line movement. Neither team will strike out that much or be that abysmal with RISP again.

I watched the first couple innings of last night's game, feel asleep, then woke up and watched the last couple innings. It seemed to me that his strike zone was waayyy bigger than what I saw in the Tennessee and Kentucky games. Is that just me? Maybe I'm just too used to having the box on the screen with MLB.
Is there a way to know what crew is doing each game? I didn't see the North Carolina game but I wonder if the same ump did that game?

Jump on the totals early. Saw 10.5 -140 to the over early this morning. Hopefully it doesn’t matter and FSU wins 8-5. But totals move to the over. Get em early.

Tennessee did look too easy but I think a lot of that had to do with Drew Beam's last few starts which were uncharacteristically bad, giving up runs early and not making it deep into the game. Then add to that all the bullpen arms we had to use against FSU and you could see how this one could have gotten tricky. But Beam's not the kind of guy that would step onto this stage and lay another egg. Great performance.
I think these Tennessee bats will take you to your over.

Sorry but Beam isn’t good. 4.56 era isn’t dominant. UNC tripping over their own cock with horrible play with RISP. First time Tennessee ever won the first two games in Omaha. Ohh well.
