After I lost my parlay the other day with Toronto blue jays blowing that 7-0 lead I started asking questions and doing soul searching. I’m down huge again but it doesn’t make sense to me how that happens. A team is up 7-0 and their pitching and bull pen is that fkn bad you only win by 1 fkn run. Then I get killed last night as well. I’m terrible at bankroll management the worst. Until I drill in my head small amounts I’m gonna have a rough life. It’s so hard to win in baseball and sports betting in general . I gotta be up there in too cursed 2024. Fml it’s just bad . Had a great WSOP and burned the money that quickly. 1 more check and we all know that will be burned by Thursday 

I added up roughly since 14 how much I’m down and it’s gotta be 20 k a year or more lol maybe if I got a good job I wouldn’t think about gambling anymore bc I’m always gambling to try and make more money but always lose.

Money management is an absolute must in baseball.

But it sounds like you shouldn't gamble and just relax and focus on other things.

Leave the parlays alone. STRAIGHT WAGERS ....That is how to win... 

IF you do a parlay, 2 or 3 teams Max.

Straight wagers and bankroll management.

Take your time...baseball is a 6 month sport.

You are NOT cursed…Quit gambling… it’s just not for u… once u are down what u claim u are down from gambling…. U will NEVER win it back… u will never be satisfied with short term winning even though u win u will LOSE it all back eventually… QUIT.   Your are a dopamine addict.  Ohhhh.  Feels so good when u win…  When u lose it back it feels 10x worse.. hence all your mood swings

    Only seat wins every night at poker table is the zero seat. Become a dealer. Made 15k in 7 weeks dealing WSOP in 2019. Players appreciate and tip well a dealer knows game inside and out. 

Here’s a tip… for confidence and longevity… Pardon my French but idgaf if u like 25 picks in one day.. Straight bet them ALL, if u know u can pick more winners than losers at least 4 days out of the week (keep missing parlays by 1 or 2 is an indication of being decent enough to pick more winners than losers)

THEN maybe flirt a little with parlays.. in this case at least you’ll be seeing the ball go thru the hoop figuratively speaking for confidence sake.. seeing that u won SOMETHING or broke even… instead of constant depression of missing by 1..

even if it’s just $1 a game for the sport of it, at least you’d gain more experience without it breaking ur pockets.

There is no god of baseball or any other form of sports betting. There are only demons, and these we create. "Bad luck' is the worst demon a gambler creates. I know this from experience. You really need to understand what this means in order to stop creating demons for yourself.

I'm sending you a copy of Parlay odds. Notice the difference between the payout odds and the true odds. This is critical info to know if you play parlays. Not only are they had as hell to hit, you are also getting progressively screwed the more teams you pick. The big jump comes when you move up to a 4 teamer. Bettors lose around 25% of true value on a 4 team parlay! And the gap between paid odds and true odds grows greater the more teams you add in a parlay. Think about this, and maybe you can eliminate one of those demons you are creating for yourself.

sure, those crazy payouts with parlays are attractive but they’re also the furthest from promising. I’m gonna draw up a scenario I guarantee some of the heavy parlay players faced n regretted n prob still have the same bad habit.. 

IE: let’s say I do a 5 leg parlay.. couple games complete, others are playing, BUT I have a cash out option almost half of the payout.… if I risked $15 for a $170 payout… but my cash out option is $80… take that $80! Because if u were risking 1500 and that cash out was $8000 u wouldn’t have thought twice.. sometimes we get caught up in trying to win a million overnight instead of just taking the profit! 

The biggest objective is to not lose, so if I started that day with $200 bankroll and ended it with $205, it’s a winning day for me.
