Good luck MlTM
Thanks man
I've got to figure the Top Automated Total out. I began to use it on June 6 (in this thread). It started out by going (18-6) the first 24 plays. It then proceeded to lose about 7 in a row and I began to tinker with it. Today I went back to the June 6 setup. If this fails, it may go into hibernation. It's very frustrating for me. I don't take failure well.
I don't recommend Chasing but I'm doing it any way. Anybody going to join in. Since Feb 15th and this includes hockey also. My Top Power Number has never lost four in a row. In fact it has never lost four in a row on either the Puckline or Runline.
The Chase (1-0) (+$100)
2.
A) Atlanta -1 (-105) $105 to win $100
If it Pushes, we simply pick up at the same spot tomorrow.
Good luck guys

I hear you.
I will put my Top Power Number up against anything I've seen both in hockey and baseball
I am entering into a marathon data mining session to essentially double the success.
When I emerge, I may start a new thread to share the plays.
I had a game changer when I built the model for the Top Power Number and now I may be on the verge of a 2nd game changer.
I will not have any additional plays or info for tonight but perhaps tomorrow or in the coming days.
Good luck tonight guys.
I'm locked in my home office with the movie Moneyball on continuous loop.

Changing things up today. I'm now only using one model but the same format. This could be a game changer.

I really wish my Top Automated Total had worked out. It started out (18-6) but then went (4-12) and that's not acceptable to me. So I pulled the plug when I was just about dead even.
The Top Power Number has been absolutely fantastic.
60-22 in the NHL
66-28 in MLB
Longest losing streak is still just two games, I'm referring to moneyline and that is just amazing.
Longest losing streak is only 3 games on the runline
There have been no 4 game losing streaks.
27-16 in this thread and that's on the runline.
My Power Number is a combination of 2 sets of Power Rankings that I use. I use a season long ranking, as well as a very current one. On February 12, I found a way to combine the 2 sets into One Power Number.
The rating scale is (1-30) and I ignore anything under a (+15) rating.
The rating is only good for today and it's only a rating between the 2 teams. I know that's confusing. It's not an overall ranking.
The Yankees are not rated #1, that's not how it works.
Today the Yankees are rated (+13) against Baltimore but that's only good for today against Baltimore. Tomorrow the rating will change and if they were playing Houston, the rating would be different.
I see no reason my #2 rated MLB Power Number will not win, provided the rating is (+15) or higher. And yes, some days there won't be two teams going over a (+15) rating.
Good luck guys

Since the All Star break I've been doing a 4 game Chase on the Top Power Number to win $100. It's posted in this thread,
The Power Number Chase (3-0) (+$300)
Beginning today, Sunday July 24, I'll be starting a 4 game Chase on the #2 rated Power Number to win $50.
I'll be doing this in this thread until one of my Top 2 Power Numbers lose 4 in a row. I owe it to my Power Numbers model to see this through. If I'm successful, I project a profit of at least $2500 per month. I'll be using mostly (-1) lines, if I Push, I'll pick back up at the same point the next day.
So beginning today, this is how things will look.
The Power Numbers Chase (3-0) (+$300)
Sunday July 24
4.
A) Atlanta -1 (-150) $150 to win $100
5.
A) Dodgers -1 (-160) $80 to win $50
I also still bet both of these. The #1 Rated Power Number in a (1-2-4) unit progression and the #2 Rated Power Number flat bet to win (1 unit).
Good luck guys
