Anyone know this boyd..good starts in double and triple..how does that convert to mlb. Texas is struggling..but cant get behind much more
Gallardo has allowed 3 ER's his last five starts and Boyd is legit, 70/18 K/BB ratio in 73 IP's in the minor leagues, 1.10 ERA.... these rookie pitchers called up from minor leagues have been pitching like cy young this season.. just look at Andrew Heaney a few days ago lol and Matt Boyd is a better prospect.
blue jays are capable of scoring 6 runs any given day.. but the pitching match up Is very underrated.. wouldn't shock me if it goes under.

lol way too early to say that. Wait until they get through the lineup once, these are major league hitters, they always figure a pitcher out. I don't like that he shrugs off Navarro, he throws heat and sliders primarily.
The rumour up here is that they are showcasing him to trade him for relief pitching, I think the Braves were interested in him. Oh, and Navarro is also being showcased too, funny I suppose.

I agree with this philosophy as well. The extra payout is worth the risk considering the manner in which they win games.

Multiple sources, from pre-season when they traded for Martin and during the season, he had Navarro had initially demanded a trade, but was promised he would get his playing time and they would try to find him a team that wants him as their starting catcher.
I follow the team fairly closely so it could have been from any number of sources from radio to print. The fact is, Jays have enough bats, they need pitching, remember, the only reason he is pitching is because Sanchez is out at the moment. If they don't see him in their immediate plans, the play to get into the playoffs this year is to add depth.
Shi Davidi suggested the possibility as well:

I didn't bet this game, though I have the over.
In general the idea of betting the runline when you pick the Jays is reasonable considering how they are winning games this year. The key is obviously predicting when they will win.
