Dodgers, DBacks, Blue Jays write up 8/22

Dodgers have Brock Stewart on the mound tomorrow and he's been solid in relief for them. I expect him to feed off their great starting pitchers and show he can be a starter.  James Tailon shows moments of greatness BUT all the players you want to see have good numbers against Tailon do. Seems like all their top hitters are 3 for 2 or 3 for 1 against him. Great sign.I like the Dodgers 1st 5 innings.  Seems like the line will be pretty appealing. Gotta like the heart they showed today (8/21) in being down and coming back to tie the game 5 - 5. Its not suprising because theyve been doing it all year, but at the same time, its still always suprising to actually see them do it hahaha if you know what i mean

TOMMY MILONE IS PITCHING. Enough said... Goldschimdt is gonna have wet dreams dreaming about the homer and 2 doubles hes gonna rock off Milone... and if its not him then insert someones name in Goldy's place. Dbacks 1st 5 innings

Bluejays pitcher Rowley has been great his first 2 starts, He's already beaten the Rays his last start and Archer his a familiar face for the Blue Jays. Even though Archer had 10k
s against them his last time he's one of those pitchers that can have 11k's and give up 5 runs. He's been prone to that his entire career.  Rowley is CURRENTLY still in the military as a reserve officer. It seems like he TRULY appreciates where he's at and  is taking that military officer discipline to the mound. Archer doesnt scare me because Rowley's got that sumthin sumthin going for him. Im riding the Jays when he's on the hill. Blue Jays Full Game

I'll probably post some more picks, maybe the Lackey/Bailey matchup and defintely the Braves/Mariners matchup, have a feeling Gonzales is gonna get shelled by he Braves lefties.

It should be noted that I had a very good day today (8/21) in womens tennis and MLB. I'm notorious for going like 2-6 the day after big wins like today.  There's this variable in my valuations that apply day 2 of big win. It's called the "Frodo Baggins Effect" don't know if this termed was coined elsewhere, if so, my apologies. It's where the universe sways and compels you to take certain bets that seem good but it's a trick trap the gambling God's have set for you because thats the game where the #7 and #8 guys in the lineup that are 5'9 170lb with 23 homers in 3 seasons suddenly go off. You curse the Gods and wonder why this always happens to you. Im aware of this and it effects me too. Now, these Frodo's were always goin to have a good game that game, its the effect that made you bet it.

Blue jays are in. Complete tailspin. See last series. Depleted on any depth. Playing bautista at 3rd turned out to be a complete joke. Bullpen is struggling a little bit. And blue jays already have won a Rowley vs archer matchup at home. They are much worse on the road and the team just can't hit. Back the under or back the rays, like your name

Morales has great numbers vs archer I think that could be a differ nice maker. Just like last couple years archer can handle joey and Donaldson but the cleanup makes him pay

The Rays offense has been pretty quite as of late as well. Teams like the Blue Jays get out of slumps against teams like the Rays. I don't really want to over think this one. Im going to sprinkle some on the Jays F5 ML.

Adding:

Marlins (GM 2) F5 ML - 115.  This is a 10* play for me. The better offense in the Marlins will be all warmed up to crush Pivetta.  I like Urena's L5 he's been reliable. Marlins gonna crush.

White Sox with Giolito on the mound. He's good, real deal good. He's going to go in their with the mind set "This is how you do it guys." I expect him to shut down the twins hot bats and I like CWS to pounce on Gibson to give Giolito a good shot at a W and good momentum going foward.  Just remember all of those times you bet against Gibson and won a fairly easy bet... kinda feels like one of those spots. Beside a few solo shots from Josh Donaldson last time Archer owns the Jays..  I expect the Rays to hit better this game.. 

I'm a Rays fan so I naturally follow them a little closer then the other teams. The Rays are a team that other teams break out of slumps of. I wouldnt be suprised if this game was fast and the game stays under. Archer still leaves too many fastball down the plate, he could have 10k's and give up 2 homers to one of the many guys who seen him a million times. Just gotta roll with Rowley until he loses.
