@MITM
You do you, been working no pressure here
@Skobuffs
Not much difference at all between
Over 5.5 (+110)
Or
Over 4.5 (-145)
Your risking 55 cents on the dollar that it won't land on 5.
Between these two, the better bet is the one I have (in my opinion).
Now watch it land 5

I'm only chasing plus money plays, so I couldn't have played Over 4.5 (-145). My first point of emphasis on this endeavor was not to chase juice. That would get out of hand quickly. My maximum risk is always defined.
Good luck
I'll be around when this one goes final.

@TurnandBurn2023
I have a couple of models that I use for most of the plays (not all), so I guess I use my own criteria.
I'm using a 5 game chase for my best plus money plays. I don't chase any specific thing. I don't want to be locked into anything. When I eventually go down, I want it to be all on me. I don't want to go out by the Dodgers being swept at home by the Pirates. Which has happened by the way.

Yeah
My point was, I'm not chasing a particular team. Most people use a Chase in baseball to Chase a particular team in a 3 or 4 game series. I'm not doing that.

Ya I was thinking of trying the "chase" theory with the under in a 4- game series. Preferably divisional. Rarely, if ever, inter-league. The odds are fairly stable on totals compared to ML.
Could also apply it to the over instead.
The one issue is what to do if all 4 games did go over and you had to chase further. Do you take the loss or move on to chase 5. On $20 you would lose roughly $300 (20, 40, 80, 160 + juice), or 15 wins betting $20 at +100 odds
Be interesting to see how many times a season a 4 game series is swept to the under or over

Not sure what u mean.
I do a 5 game chase. Don't know what u mean about moving on to chase 5.
All my plays are independent of each other.
My 5 best plus money only plays. If I lose 5 in a row, I'm out. It resets with each win.
A) Risk $50
B) Risk $100
C) Risk $200
D) Risk $400
E) Risk $800
Max Risk for me ($1550)
Everything after that mark is a freeroll
It may end with Chase 25 or it may end with Chase 500

I meant my idea of another chase method. I understand what you are doing
Say minne and Cleveland play a 4 game series in Cleveland. I chase the under similar to you chasing your 5 plays. If all 4 games did go over I could either accept the loss or continue to chase the under between those 2 teams whenever they play their next series. Of course bank roll size would be pivotal as the chase got up there in number
