its easy to say why i wouldnt follow these

people that play chalk consistently, on a daily basis, dont win.

it doesnt take much effort to just lay chalk day in, day out either.

thats not a system

Yes, when you see plays with 3 and 4 asterisks by them, these are 3 and 4 unit plays -- plays I am more confident in based on my generated money line.

Guarantee you that footballtime has been tailing lanny. Look at the threads he posts in. Matrixx, lanny, badlands. All cappers who were on a tear and popular. He does make his own threads asking bator for help tho, so I guess he is an asset. Footballtime doesn't know how to fade, only tail

Lan, I know I mentioned this before and I believe you quickly dismissed it, but why not scale back a bit while you're struggling?  I know this system is what had you up ~60 units and you don't want to change anything because you feel you should be able to right the ship soon, but what if the ship doesn't right itself for a week or two?  I know there are alot of "what ifs" but you had nearly 40 units in play tonight and about 35 on Wednesday...that is significant, significant risk when you are scuffling.  
 
On a different note, how did the Pittsburgh trade play out in your system?  Obviously Nady is a main cog in that offense and Marte is a key contributor out of the pen.  With Duke being a drippy ball of puss, and 2 key players out, this doesn't scream 4 unit play to me.  You seem like you are on top of things, just making sure you (or your system) had your bases covered for this to happen again as the trade deadline approaches.

I've officially hit rock bottom. There is something seriously wrong with the principal criteria for my plays and it's destroyed me. The totals are still doing well and there is still a successful criteria for moneyline plays but one that rarely calls for plays at the moment. I will stick to this and make the plays 4 units but they will be few and far for some time. I can tell you that there will be no plays of any kind today but there should be a few on Sunday. I have a lot of reevaluating to do but I am still confident I will make a big comeback before it's all said and done. Good luck to everyone with their plays today.

LANA, this is a very humbling business. I give you credit for having the guts to submit your selections and for having the perspective to back off and retool your approach. I've been involved in sports betting for over 35 years and you are way ahead of me at your age. Keep your chin up and learn from your mistakes.

Good Luck Lana. I am not going to say "Don't get down about it" because I think it is impossible not to when you go on a losing streak. It does seem to pass, although not quickly enough. Maybe you should just take a few days off as I think most of the better gamblers do when they are cold.  I hate losing streaks. Very depressing. Whatever you decide, if you don't let the pressure get to you, I think you will be fine.
