3-2 yesterday and up 4 units   Nice wins by Washington, Houston and San Diego....if Cleveland and NY Mets could have held on and won it would have been a banner day....almost back to even.  Four plays for now. Want to play the Padres later tonight but haven't yet.

Minnesota +170 Joe Nathan can't blow a save in Yankee Stadium today....

Chicago South Siders -130 Taking a fave ......Meche threw 128 pitches last time out....he didn't fare too well last year after in a similar circumstance. Today I get to fade a marginal (at best) Gil Meche and probably get four innings of KC bullpen.

It's funny, usually taking a dog like this you have to back Brian Burres or Bud Norris or somebody of that ilk.......hell, Livan has pitched fantastic for some time now and the Nats can hit the ball. I know Jimenez has been out of his mind but this is crazy.

Nationals

MN's line-up is certainly different so their recent trends aren't totally relavent.  But Baker is a fly ball pitcher.....in Yankee stadium.    Line is actually where I thought it would be and I will probably lay off and pray.

Nats continue to get dissed.  I don't care if they lose by 48 tonight......

Still working on the card.  As much as I hate the phrase, "law of averages," it always is the devil on my shoulder I work to ignore as I work on games the next day....lots of dogs cashed yesterday. 

I have a good mind to lay -180 with the Rays tonight.
