This STARTER is riding a tenuous 8-gameHOT STREAK, WITHOUT getting roughed up yet in that streak,
...but this should be anticipated to end at anytime!!!
Imanaga, Cubs
Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again. It happens to the best of them. Just CAN NOT be avoided.
When??? We can't know that for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is after they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season, not just from the start) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances....it happens! But for me, I don't need the stress that the bubble may burst that day. There's 14 other games to look at. I can simply skip those "HOT STREAK" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing beatdown, then resume looking at his starts after that!

I have a few possible leans today I will watch for line moves and/or lineup changes: Angels .... getting plus money in a coin-flipper Rockies .... getting BIG plus money in a coin-flipper
Rays .... should have a tiny edge over Jays, but Gausman coming off a BAD outing so he may rebound with a SOLID performance, putting a Tampa bet in jeopardy... hard to say... hate guessing

Do twins come back with a vengeance after last night?
Oy-yoy....tough question...... I mean, if they weren't in such a horrid slump at the plate....
On the one hand, Twinkies hit against lefties better than all but 3 other teams, and today they face a mediocre/WEAK starter (Allen) with a BAD WHIP stat and even worse ERA This suggests Twinkies have a golden opportunity to break their batting slump! Mind you, Cleveland does have the best bullpen in MLB to back him up so it may come down to *IF* they can get to this guy early.... But, Cleveland does not hit righties particular well and they face a GOOD one....
But on the other hand, two things: that Twins batting slump is a big concern until they prove they are out of it (which implies wait until Sunday) .....and the fact that Ober "the giant" has only allowed 28 baserunners in 41 2/3 ip with only 2 homers (AWESOME!!), gives pause in my capping style because a reasonable case can be made that NOW he may be due for a BAD outing
Put it all together and the Twinkies could be a definite maybe...
But I'm sitting this one out until I see a full game where their bats are back.

Top of the first and Phillies fair/mediocre starter, SANCHEZ, already gives up 3 hits and an earned run. Statistically, the NATS bat poorly v. lefties, but they got to Sanchez early.... Phillies DO NOT have a GOOD bullpen, so they could be in big trouble here if he doesn't rebound in next inning and beyond...... that or Phillies bats will be forced to score plenty...

Despite the Phillies solo homer in the 7th to tie the game, their bats are slumping today.... Just got this feeling that after having a stellar night of bets yesterday, I'm going to lose at least 3 of my pending 6 bets....
2 - 2 game top of the 9th and the Phillies run production is sadly lacking thus far....since the game is not going according to my plan, it's HEDGING TIME! one out in 9th....LIVE BET: NATS +145
