Only the 2nd time all year this has happened - I ended the day EVEN
No money lost, No money earned. Hit my 2 big bets of the day in the Nationals (GM #1) -1 and the CLE/MIN *OVER 9* but my LARGE play of the day, which was Mariners -1 went to extra innings and lost.
All is well and we're moving on - 1 LARGE play on deck... a lot of over/unders on the card as Thursdays are usually Total(s) E. Awesome . . .

I was wondering if you could give me some insight on your large play. The Astros have fared well against Garcia this year, and I know you are big on umpires. Does it bother you that there has only been 10 total runs scored in this series so far? Also, I really want to pull the trigger using your Bears as my survivor pick this week. I know the any given Sunday shit, but do you actually see your rested Bears losing outright to these young, scrappy Rams on their home turf? Thanks for your time Gil!

I'm always playing OVERS when day games go on @ Busch Stadium. This year, it's hit 70% of the time (16-7) and the last 8 series between these 2 teams, the OVER has cashed at least one of the games in a 3 game or 4 game set.
I really wouldn't care who the ump is today (but it's Larry Vanover) as I would still be playing the OVER. Since ump isn't one of the lethal UNDER umps, then I like the play furthermore to make it LARGE.
Same situation was set up their last series - first 2 games of a 3 game stayed way under the total. Then a day game was on deck for the series finale, and 18 runs were produced with the Cards winning 13-5.
It's a beautiful day @ Busch Stadium (so I read...)
I have read the Bud Norris is dealing with flu lik symptoms... really hoping he doesn't get scratched as he's one of my favorite road fades. This year, he's 2-11 on the road with an ERA @ 7.34 and a WHIP @ 1.72 - no, those aren't typos. He's done rather well throguhout his career @ Busch Stadium though - and there's no Beltran today for the Cards. It's OK though, since Craig (.455) and Decalso (.429) have hit Bum well the past few times they faced off.
And you're right about the Astros faring against Garcia - he's faced the disAstros twice this year, and took a Loss both times @ Minute Maid Park in Houston. This time around it's @ Busch where Garcia has proven he's way better @ home then on the road. I would be happy if the 'stros got 2 runs. 3 would be golden.

Bud Norris is tough when he faces Cards. i think Disastrous DO have some funny chance to win here for Garcia and Bud Norris. anyway GL
True - but dealing with an illness, who knows how far he'll go. Maybe he can't make it past the 5th. Well, then the disAstros 29th ranked bullpen comes into play...
