Sorry man...that Emmel over is doomed since I joined you on this one. Notice that the one I didn't play sailed way over the total. The one I played before that fell WELL short.

GilMo: i hate to do this again, but i think Yankee's will lose today because the baseball gods have to make it close at the end of the season (pertaining to who wins division) so that baseball league play will be exciting to the very end. if yanks win today they will be up 2 games and it will be hard for Baltimore to make up 2 games seeing who each team plays at end of season. good luck though
This same situation occurred a few weeks back - Blue Jays were out on the road for 10 games (3g series, 4g series, 3g series) and the following day they came home to play the Yankees, and lost, 10-4.
Today, the Blue Jays face the Yankees the day after coming home after an 11 day road trip - 2 4 game series, and a 3 gamer. I'll take this fade almost every time it comes up...
As for the gambling gods - well, they've treated me well this month. And, they've treated the Baltimore Orioles better then just about any team in the bigs. I'm not buying the fact that the gods are trying to keep Baltimore in the race for the AL East. The Wild Card is what they're desired to get. And that's, what they'll get.
I will add that I am not a big fan of Ivan Nova. Not at all. Normally, I wouldn't back him, as I play mostly OVERS in games involving him. But then the entire Blue Jays roster is 18-90 against him lifetime and batting a combined .200 - I'll have some faith in him having a quality outing today.
You rarely see me lay -130+ in juice - so I'm fairly confident that Nova & the Yankees will be on their best behavior for us backers.

Well, you can look @ some positives in supporting not only Emmel's O/U record and his almost 11 run average per game...
Today will be the 14th ball game played @ The Ballpark in Arlington this year - the average runs scored in the previous 13 games = 10.7
Blackley is a lefty, and we know how the Rangers fair -vs- lefties (1st in .AVG, 1st in .OPS) but would you believe, or anybody believe, that the Oakland Athletics rank 2nd in MLB in Homeruns hit off lefties? Yep. It's true. And you know who #1 is? YepYup - The Rangers.
So, be confident, Weebz.

BOL Gil. Reds will show their firepower, looks like another Nats / Brewers matchup. seems pretty tight one, but Brewers will ruin themselves, then Reds HRs. took Reds ML, RL, instead of OVER for Reds' scary bullpen.
