Cubs have been hitting the ball hard. They have been putting up runs lately but coming short of winning the past few games. I expect them to continue to hit the ball and get out of this 3 game losing streak. They are putting runs up late in the game. They need to wake the fuck up today and put some in early. Hit or miss. I take the Cubs. Hopefully Samar pitches good and we can all go home happy.

They have been swinging
the bats really well lately and Samardzija has been a pleasant surprise
for the Cubs in his first season as a starter, boasting an NL-best 0.81
home ERA This will be Samardzija's first start against the White Sox after going
0-1 with a 2.45 ERA in three relief appearances against them a year ago. Cubs are 6-1 in Samardzija's starts compared with a 9-22 mark with anyone else on the hill.
They have scored 6 runs in four of the last 5 games Humber hasnt been great since the perfect game but his last outing was pretty good.
Humber has pitched 7 innings vs Cubs with a 0.00 ERA and Samardzija has only pitched 3.2 innings vs Sox and has a 2.45 ERA
Sox
coming all the way home after being on West Coast for a day game, I
find it hard to put money on the White Sox right now especially with
Samardzija on the hill.
Damn Cubs BP scares me though, maybe I will do Cubs 1st 5 innings
I am with you on the Cubs. I think I am doing 1st 5 and full game just to be sure.... they remind me of the Mets with their BP LOL

I hate the Cubs bullpen. Lately each guy pitches well one outing and then horrible the next. They're due for a good bullpen outing today. Hopefully Jefferey pitches a complete game and the bullpen just scratches their ass. If not, you're looking at Russell (L), Camp/Wood (R) and the youngster Dolis (R) coming in from the 7th inning on. That's a tough one.
White Sox pen is pretty shaky as well. Santiago and Ohman are time bombs Addison Reed is due to throw and he just let up 6 runs in 1/3 innings work a few days ago....I'm sure he'll bounce back. Zach Stewart just threw 3 innings (39 pitches) of shutout ball 4 days ago and is sporting a decent era (2.19) in only 12 innings thus far....not really sure what to expect out of him?
Adam Dunn will probably be playing left field today....it could get ugly out there He'll probably go 0-4 with 3 K's in the process...or hit 2 home runs? He's a real inconsistent piece of shit, but is having a bounce back year and why wouldn't he? I only drafted him pretty high last year and he fucked me. So of course he's back playing well this year. Watch out for a possible Adam Dunn walk off today just because I think he's a piece of shit!

Detroit great write up about the bullpens and I can clearly see you really really hate Dunn. Well I wish Dunn goes 0-4 today and cubs can get some runs in.

ohh good old Kerry. I still remember that game in 1998. He struck out 20 astros and finshed the game with 1 hit and no walks. I was 15 that time lol.. good memories...
Come on CUBS win it for Kerry !!!!!

I'm on the cubbies too. Just hope Phillip Humber doesn't find a way to throw another perfect game like he did on 4/21 against seattle. His ERA is 5.77 now but I hope he stays on his landslide to AAA.
