He is easily one of the worst fielders in the game. Any competent fielder would havE made that catch. Just brutal. He cost the team a run. This game should be tied right now.

Hey Einstein, it's "you're", not "your" within the context on how you used it. I'd be careful on who you call morons.
Im gunna take a shot in the dark and say that you know f#ck all about ball and make off topic post to increase your posts count. You couldn't cap your way out of a paper bag...now take a hike kid

Might not know how to cap, who knows but the original poster has obvious money on the Jays, gets pissed because Bautista makes an error then sticks a bad fielder label on him when several have pointed out his fielding percentage is decent and he wasn't obtained for his glove.

Weeble, if you think an OF's Fielding % has anything to do with how good of a fielder they are, then you don't deserve to be with a 100 yards of any baseball diamond.

Is that supposed to be an insult? If so, try harder next time. Besides, I'm not sure how my opinions have anything to do with my being allowed near a diamond.
I was just using cold stats to back up my statement. As a Jays fan of since they were in the league, I don't need stats to tell you that he's a top fielding OF with an amazing arm. Care to explain another way that's NOT subjective to determine a fielder's ability to field a ball? Next are you going to tell me that saves and save percentage don't determine the ability of a closer? In other words, why do they waste their time coming up with every single stat in the free world if it doesn't matter what they are?

Just because you can't quantify something, doesn't make it subjective ya douche.
Positioning/depth, range, reading balls off bat, agility, etc. Maybe have a talk with your high school JV coach.
Here are some numbers for ya (because you love them). In 2005 Manny Ramirez lead the major leagues with 17 OF assists (5 more than any other OF). Two years later he finished with a fielding percentage of .990. How many Gold Glove Awards has Manny won....?

So ya thought that calling me a douche would be a good way to support your argument?
I'm always up for a little friendly discussion/disagreement but the childish name-calling isn't for me.
