was kinda thinking to start something new and see how efficient it is throughout the year i think if teams lost the first 2 of a 3 game series always a good idea to bet them the 3rd game as they are due, baseball is a very long season and no matter how good you are its hard to sweep any team. theyre are 5 scenarios like this tomorrow figure if i took all 5 of them and won 3 i would still be up! I think if i continue this strategy for the entire season i am bound to win more than i lose what do all you guys think? feel free to chime in with your thoughts! (of course this also would apply all the more so to a 4 game series if the team lost the first 3 of the series etc etc...) Also considering taking teams who are better in rubber matches to win the series. think i will win more often then not if i take all such scenarios for the entire season in straight wagers.
gonna start with teams down 0-2 in series there are 5 such scenarios for tomorrow! ( going small on all same amount on each to see if this system is effective)
Cubs/Jason Hammel vs Pirates/Wandy rodriguez pirates won both in this series in extras including a win in 16 innings, got cubs winning here Cubs +150
Royals/Y Ventura Vs Detroit/ anibal Sanchez royals a much improved team who played close games in both of the first 2 games in the series hard to beat 2 of the best in verlander and scherzer think they avoid the sweep Royals +145
Nationals/ jordan zimmerman vs Mets/ Zack wheeler mets lost a heartbreaker in the opener with 2 outs in the 9th and the game all but sealed parnell gives up the tying run on a hit by dernard span of course we all know the rest, just dont see them getting swept after gio gonzalez abused them last night even taking them deep with the bat who knew! mets +129
Twins Phil hughes/ Vs White sox Quintana 2 close games both won by CWS, minnesota is not a great team with a not so great pitching staff perhaps hughes moving to a small market has a positive effect on him and he finally shows some flashes of what everyone thought he could be, besides the white sox arent exactly great TWins +125
BEST BET Yankees nova vs astros oberholtzer the fact that the yankees have already lost 2 straight games to the astros is just unimaginable almost feel as if i am dreaming, astros dont have a player over 25 on there roster most of the team belongs in the minor leagues and they may be the worst team in the league record wise when its all set and done take yankees big here! So the only one I hesitate on is the Mets pick. Not saying the Mets can't win that game, especially at home, but Zimmerman has just been so good this spring and Wheeler...I'll believe he's turned a corner when I see it.
