i dont know about hedging advice, but ur 3300 is on the wrong team, so good luck breaking even. id say crank down on LAD -2.5 or something, maybe -1.5 RL see if u can not lose both

Well if you were to put the 1300 on the Dodgers ML, you ain&#x27;t making much considering the price. You&#x27;d get about 800. If you want to get ballsy, you bet on the Dodgers RL which returns you about 1600-1700. Honestly, I wouldn&#x27;t trust that though. To get as close to even as possible and what I would do if I were trying to hedge, I&#x27;d simply place Dodgers and a total. That would bank you about 2600 leaving you somehow close close to the 3300. your call.

if houston comes out and scores early maybe you can sneak a bet on dodgers in 2nd or 3rd innings to guarantee yourself profit

The Houston bet closes a 2 game parlay with a soccer dog that came in a couple weeks ago...put 100 on it and pays 3300.

Yeah I was thinking of rolling the dice and hope Houston jumped put to a lead and then get a better price on LAD.....thats one idea.

To even consider it a hedge would be to place a parlay. In this case I would take LAD and the over. This game is going to end with a bang with both pitchers getting lit up. IMO. GL whatever you decide to do.

My opinion there is only one way to do this. Ride out your initial bet and hope and pray for about 3-4 run lead early on the Astros. That should put the Dodgers live in betting around +500 or more. Then put the 1,300 on LA, and kick back and relax

Just put 500 on LAD pays 3600.....guarantees me 3800 or 4100

I really hope you didn&#x27;t listen to any of these suggestions...they were garbage.  In their defence though you omitted some very important information in your OP.  Never ever "hedge" in a way where you can middle out and lose both bets (ie. parlays or RL).  Hedge was in quotations because this is not a real hedge.If you want to be really technical, because your original bet was a parlay to give you great odds spending only $150 for a 3300 return, all you had to do was put enough on the Dodgers ML to win your original $150 back.  That is a hedge, and you would have been free-rolling your Astros bet.  Anything else above that $150 isn&#x27;t just &#x2B;EV, it&#x27;s guaranteed profit. Too late now anyway, hope whatever you did works out for you!  Cheers!

The goal was to try and win as large a sum as the bet I had placed so I could watch the game and win approximately 3300 either way.....a few tries at parlays with LAD didn&#x27;t pan out But Houston going up 5-0 allowed me to do what I set out to do so I&#x27;m pretty thankful. I win 3300 or 3600.....go dodgers now as it pays more lol
