Well, we cashed in big last night fellas. NCAA is finally over and we now focus our attention on the NBA playoffs. We start this quest tonight! As there are a few key matchups to determine contenders and final seedings.
The Hornets are in a tough spot if they want to make the playoffs. They must win both of their remaining games, and hope the pistons split there’s. The Cavs are banged up, they don’t have a big man and will have to rely on Channing Fry to rebound and provide offense. I expect the Hornets to come out of the gate strong and cover the 4.5 first half line. Could they cover the -8? They could…. but I’m not as confident in that play. DAS GOAT would never play with your pockets like that.
Take away all the background noises, the “must wins”, the injuries, and records, and lets look at the numbers;
Hornets average 55.5 ppg in the first half, and have bumped it up to 58.7 ppg in the last 3 games.
The Cavs average 51.7 ppg in the first half, and have dropped to 48.7 ppg in the last 3 games.
Do you see a trend? DAS GOAT definitely does…..So tail me to the promise land as we cash in tonight’s early bird winner. Drink of choice for this Tuesday night special is a light cold Michelob Ultra, as we must prepare for the hot summer playoff days ahead!
