McCullers has been horrific in July and Sept. He was bad against the Red Sox in the ALDS. 2 good outings against the curveball susceptible yankees isnt moving me off my view of Lance.
Meanwhile Darvish has been nails his last 5 outings not giving up more than a run in any of those starts. His last 2 outings in Minute Maid park was 7 inn 1 er, 7inn 0 er.
Regarding the bullpen, similar deal. One game isnt going to change my view of how good the Dodgers bullpen in compared to Astros bullpen.
Im shocked at the line movement since the game 3 line was posted.

How has McCullers been in the playoffs though? Pretty solid huh? What needs to be taken into account here is the confidence that the Astros have gained from the small hiccup of that dodgers bullpen. Springer seems to be back and Altuve and Correa are killing it. if Gurriel and Gonzalez can be more consistent, this series is over. Yes....I said it. This series is over. Not to mention, the Astros haven't had a consistent two hitter to set the table for Altuve and Correa. The Astros are the best scoring team, the best OPS team and they strike own less than any other team. In a series like this, manufacturing runs rather than hitting home runs will be key going forward Darvish has been on fire but this is a road game amigo. You want to focus on his last 5 starts which is fine but let's not pretend Darvish has been unhittable all year. The crowd, the confidence, the DH, I think the line is just about right here. Gonna be a great game. Can't wait!
