i quit betting totals

too many double plays...too many fielders choice out at home, too many 1 out 2nd and 3rd situation with no runs scored.....then u got the bullpens destroying leads......no more totals for me,,, way to unpredictable

best thing you can do man, is not watch these games,, why give yourself agida, the games i watch, i always regret watching or even following them

The betting public loves taking overs...so why not take unders for a change...like I said, taking the unders you are winning from the start of the game...less stress 
 
 
Dont worry though...the overs will go on a large run eventually

i stopped betting totals. i could bet on 2 scrubs and itll go under. i bet the under with 2 aces and it goes over

That's when 1st fives become profitable. Let the solid pitching (hopefully) keep the game settled and predictable, and then get out before the bullpen does their usual implosions.

  thats a thrid of my betting strategy there..  i almost always bet the overs on top pitchers , and the unders on scrubs,,  its a scary thought , but try it, and youll see the results

a completely random thing to break down is which way the total will go. The total can be set by oddsmakers by looking at lineups, pitchers, matchups batter vs pitcher, bullpens, closers, wind conditions, etc. Which side comes out is COMPLETELY RANDOM. Totals are the EPITOME of sucker bets. Made to take money from suckers. Sure, you can win at roulette for a while also, but what happens by the end of the trip? Yupp. Same as betting totals.

i agree fully, the total is set perfectly, niether the oddsmaker knows what the fuck is gonna happen, its a sucker bet

but people on here and other forums sware they know if its gonna go over or not. Theres no fucking way on this earth that anyone knows. Sucker bet is right. Im the sucker.

youre crazy to think its completely random,,  just like if you bet sides, once its adjusted for the odds, its random,,  oddsmakers make mistakes,, they picks sides,, its figuring out which way will likely prevail that makes the difference between a good bet or a bad one

Betting in general is unpredictable. If it was predictable, then there wouldn't be any sportsbooks because bettors would know what to bet on all the time.

no offense guys but some retarded shit going on in here.  totals are the easiest thing to beat(hence the limits)  You cant complain about bullpens because you can bet first 5,  if the pen sucks bet the over(or better yet the over 2nd half)  they just require the most research,   weather, ump, ballpark, starter(check pitch count from last start) bullpen situation(know who's available) and then pitcher/hitter history.   Do enough research and you will be successful.

took a 3 teamer under parlay with odd 7,02. Man right now is best time to do it IMO

that smells like bullshit. Oddsmakers make mistakes, and the bettor doesnt??????? if the totals were all set at 5 we would all win millions, but when they are set at 8 or 9, who knows which way it will go, theres no such thing as a good bet or a bad bet, just a win or a loss result at the end of the game. Please give me a GOOD bet example.

sides are NOT adjusted the way you speak off...you can say that in spreads but not money lines. They may be adjusted as far as risk and payouts, but as far as adjusting them to make it even, not with ML.

They still are, no matter what the fucking moneyline is , any team can still win, do i even have to show u examples, their everywhere, everything is a crapshoot, totals, moneylines, runlines, their made to be a crapshoot, thats what its all about

how long did it take you to figure this out?... same thing with basketball totals.    its a coin flip.  its whoever come to play that day, and it changes from game to game

totals are far easier than picking sides.

just mathematically wise.
