cubbies #'s vs Cueto are pretty good.  not to mention he's only 2-5 vs them in 8 starts.  Wells on the other hand has decent #'s vs Reds bats.  his problem is always getting out of the first 2 innings.  throwing a little on the cubbies to bounce back from their ass whooping yesterday.

Agreed. Cubs offfense is horrible. Will they eventually score some runs? Sure they will. But trying to guess based on a line that seems low is like betting because "they are due".  That's as smart as betting against the public play just to be contrarian.  If you like the Cubs today, bet them. It has nothing to do with "Vegas knowing something".  The more posts you read on here, the more confused you become. Go with your gut or tail someone.

Cueto is young and could have a bad outing. That could be more about bad pitch placement for him than a resurgence of the Cubs bats! Anyone grandstanding that they know the Cubs will all of the sudden start hitting today is being hopeful at best.  Hopeful can still win money, but usually isn't the best bet.

Betting the cubs right now is really risky. Cubs have scored 6 runs in the last 5 games and shutout twice in that span...........against future hall of famers Arroyo, Wood, Lincoln, Karstens, Maholm....seriously??

I'm a huge lifelong CUBS fan, but I'm a bigger fan of money and love riding these Cubs losing streaks. They are even more popular because they are ALWAYS over valued just due to the millions of Cubs fans that be their favorite team.

Wells is not the Wells of last year. Sure the Cubs bats come alive when he pitches averaging just over 2 runs a game in his last 7, but even more alarming is Wells has a 5.20ERA at home AND a 6.26 day ERA for the year..............again the last 7 games are against the SUPERB hitting clubs such as the Pirates (2x's), Seattle, Oakland and Houston..............sort of make you wonder what the Reds may do??

Congrats to you, but it had nothing to do with success against Cueto! A win is a win, i just wasn't buying the reasoning.
