Ill take Dbacks and Astros

I don't usually do this Only if it's a day game when a team that is always a dog is on the road. Such as Houston Minny Cubs Wsox etc.
sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

Today's early game I'll take

Astros +125
AZ runline +150

Two parlays. Look like this
Astros 125
Toronto
Mia/Texas over 9
Cleve/KC under 7.5

Parlay 2
AZ runline +150
Toronto
Mia over
Cleveland under

Gambling that AZ doesn't win by one run.
After Houston game throw one parlay away. And have that plus money takes my 3 teamer to a 4 teamer
That plus money on a parlay is def worth it
I hope this makes sense to someone

I agree with Roger. What is this that you're banking on AZ to win by just 1? Why not just take them as winning straight up?

How is gambling on a game not ending by one run any different than gambling on who wins

Don't get how this is so Foolish.

You either get Houston 125 on parlay or AZ +150 on parlay
Plus money on a parlay goes a long way

If AZ wins 4-3. Than all money is lost

You are taking a low risk wager to make a small payoff.

It is all risk/reward... you cannot beat simple math.

I don't like this approach because you are deliberately volunteering to pay more vig as a result of this type of wager.  The more vig you pay, less chance to win in the long run.

Same goes for betting at the horse track.  Exotic wagers with many boxed horses pays extra vig to the track.

The most efficient way to bet sports is straight up sides, low juice options are out there.  The best way at the track is straight WPS bets, on only one horse.

Scared money loses in the long run

If I take 
Toronto -150
Mia over -120
Cleve under -120

I put 20 on it I'll win 90

If I add Houston 125
I'll Win about 220

If I add AZ 150
I'll win about 260

Only do this to boost up parlays

Do this with football too.  I'll take two baseball games let's say on Tuesday than add my football picks to turn 2 teamer into 4 teamer. If baseball teams win  I'll take a four teamer into Sunday even though I only need two teams to win

That's what I love about football
Only sport where you have all week to bet on

By the way if I say screw the Astros and just put the 40 on 3 teamer
I'll win about 180 to take home 220  180 profit

Houston parlay take home 240.  Profit 200
AZ rl parlay. Take home 280       profit 240
