only reason i don't bet the tigers is because of him at the end of the line. unless its verlander i stay away from tiger games usually.

Tigers closer Jose Valverde entered Game 4 of the ALDS against the A's on Wednesday in the ninth inning with a two-run lead. The right-hander allowed the first two batters to reach before giving up a two-run double to Seth Smith, which tied the game at 3-3. Valverde would get the next two hitters out but then surrendered a walk-off single to Coco Crisp. Valverde was tagged with the blown save and loss in the 4-3 defeat.

$9 million a year.
