the phils got here because of complete or near complete games by Roy, roy, and Hamels. When the starter doesn't go the distance, Charlie FUCKS it up.

Charlie Manuel has already made 2 mistakes today. First, he should have brought in the left to face Huff in the 5th with a 4-2 lead. Why warm him up and then not use him? Doesn't make sense knowing this is close to a must win game for them.

Second mistake was not bunting Rollins to try to get Werth to third. It's already difficult getting runs off the Giants bullpen, so you have to find a way to manufacture it. When Rollins sacrifices Werth to third, they should have then brought in Ibanez off the bench to pinch hit for Francisco. Bad managing from Manuel.

Charlie is a very good manager imo.  Why take the bet out of j rolls hand? j roll knew he needed to pull the ball atleast and he couldnt get the job done thats not charlies fault.  Who would of you liked him to bring in kendrick?? Lidge was being saved if they needed him to make a save.
