He hasn't pitched against a decent team.

He has pitched against Cleveland and Pitt. I think almost anybody could look good against those teams

The competition doesn;t mean anything. These are ML hitters.

No one has his stuff. He throws 97-100+ with movement. Thats just unheard of. Then he has a low 90s sinker, 2 seamer to go along with a low 90s change and a plus curve.

That arsenal is untouchable, based on pure stuff. He has to learn how to pitch with that stuff to become the best but he already has a leg up on the competition based on his stuff alone.

try waiting untill the league has seen him once....then see how he does the second time thru.......everyone seeing him for the first time is always hard even if he was mediocre which he isnt....

also now teams know they can screw with the mound on him and have a lefty face him so it doesnt affect their pitcher....i think they play with his head way before they catch up to his arm

No up and coming pitcher or prospect is comparable to Strasburg.

Period.

Bryce Harper isn't even in the same hemisphere as Strasburg.
