Yankees starter Ivan Nova is primarily a fastball-and-curveball pitcher, throwing those two pitches 95 percent of the time this season. He throws his curveball 29 percent of the time, the third-highest rate among qualified AL starters (minimum 10 starts).

This might not be the best strategy against the Red Sox, who are hitting .261 against curveballs this season, best in the major leagues. In particular, Hanley Ramirez (who might not play due to injury) is hitting .357, and Mookie Betts is hitting .346 against curveballs (the major league average is .211).

Though they might not have success against the curveball, David Ortiz andAlejandro De Aza have had success against Nova in the past. Ortiz is 8-for-22 (.364) with a HR and four RBIs, and De Aza is 7-for-10 (.700) with a home r

All I know is Boston is gonna play as hard as they can and I see this being quite a game.  I myself will probably take the over, but I love Boston, and I'm not gonna root for the Yankees in this one.  Boston is my favorite team, I hope they win tonight, so the Yankees get pissed off and Boston fans are happy.

maybe you win today, Im not on any side and I wish you luck!! That was just my opnion because you were throwing too much money on a difficult game to predict the result. But ok, dont need to criticize, we are all on the same side here, trying to help each other to make money.

Assuming i do win...i predicted it and bet on the outcome OBVIOUSLY it can lose but the key is just because it is a tight line does not mean it is hard to predict. ??

I love that Gardener is OUT .Great managerial move..as a team we crushed it in the past three games..not gardener a putrid 222 vs atl. Prior to that series he sucked as well
