"Visitors to Jackie Bradley’s batting cage at JetBlue Park might think he was getting ready to hang some laundry.
A rope stretches across a screen in the right-handed batter’s box at roughly eye level, and Red Soxassistant hitting coach Victor Rodriguez believes it holds the key to Bradley regaining the form that made him a top-flight prospect before a disastrous 2014 cast his future into doubt."

I think Jackie Bradley's future is that he will be nothing more than a fringe player who winds up on someone's bench for speed and defense. He seems to be just another in a long list of 'tools' prospects that never will develop a true major league bat. Sure he is still young and things could change, but his swing his horrible and he was so overmatched at the plate last year it would take quite the remarkable transformation. I see him as another Cameron Maybin as a ceiling and a minor league signee with major league invites to spring training as just as likely a future. I don't see any way he sees meaningful playing time this season. I suspect that the Sox OF will wind up Hanley in LF, Castillo in CF and a battle in Right that I think Betts will get first crack at holding down the position. You then have Victorino as the 4th OF. Barring injury I see 5th OF or the minor leagues for him, if guys who follow Boston closer have more insight, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong or add some additional insight.
