If Lincecum can find the strike zone this probably stays UNDER.

I say over I think the Giants get to Ubaldo today. Just for some reason whenever you have 2 top flight pitchers squaring off and you think its going to be a boring 1-0 type of game. The offenses show up and say not so fast. Ubaldo is doing something that has only been done a few times in major league baseball 10 starts 9 -1 record and an era under 1? That Giants pen is suspect the Rockies offense is hitting. I just think this game sees at least 7 I know I am in the minority but cannot see Ubaldo keeping up at this pace.

If both teams hit 3 it goes over for sure...but can they in a pitchers park with those two on the mound? I have seen lots of 6.5 totals before but I don't know if I can recall seeing a 6 total with the under so heavily favored (-125 at my book). This is close to shifting to 5.5 which I know I've NEVER seen in my 10 years of betting.

Well there was a 5.5 just about a week ago. I just think that too many people are squating on the low number. Day game in SF which is a pitchers park but the ball tends to travel better in the daylight. I mean 2 bloops and and a blast by both sides and you lost. Can Ubaldo continue to do what he is doing? I say no cause it has never been done in baseball. He had a visit to AT & T last season where the Giants lit him up. Every top flight starter has at least 1 bad game and he is yet to have it. He is living on borrowed time as I do not think he can really believe he is going to go all season w/o getting roughed up at least 1 time.
*****the last 5.5 was in a game in Petco between these same Giants who were throwing Johnathan Sanchez and the Padres were throwing I believe it was Mat Latos.

if you would HAMMER the over 5.5...why no love for the over 6? if you love over 5.5 you need at least 6 runs...if they score 6 you cant lose on the over 6.

There's no reason to playing mr brave here... with those 2 in the mound, both teams have a solid bullpen, giants can't score, T & T Park (pitchers park)... we under backers will only need one of those horses to have a good outing which is the most likely to happen, take note that under is 20-1 in national league games with the total set less than 7 with the only one loss coming when the 7th run scored with 2 outs in the 9th inning.
Even if Lincecum doesn't have it tonight he still very likely will give you a QS... but he knows that his team can't score and he's facing Ubaldo with that insane under 1.00 ERA and there's no room for mistake.
IMO under is the only play here. Do it or pass.

jova you cannot be serious. They scored 12 and 6 the last 2 days granted they were not facing good pitching but to say they can not score is a joke. If you believe that Ubaldo is going all season w/ an under 1 era (which is something not even Cy Young has done) than I think you need to reconsider and if he does I will be the first to say they should rename the CY Young to the Ubaldo Jiminez award. Your comment on the Giants pen is unmerited as well. They have some people out there capable of getting outs, but Affeldt has been scored on a number of consecutive outings. Boche is probably one of the top 5 worst managers in the majors. Look back to the gem Lincecum threw against the Giants 9th inning he walked 1 batter and cost you all the under by bringing in one of the biggest flame throwing gas cans in the majors in Brian Wilson. If he can throw it by you he succeeds if you are amped up for it he is awful hittable. If I were to play it which I am not sure I will I have to play the over. If the lineups work the count and get the pitchers out early I think we can get 6 in the middle innings. A tired Ubaldo or Timmy gives up 2 consecutive singles and a reliever comes in and makes 1 mistake that leaves the park you have hlaf your total. Good Luck either way you go but think its hard to go under wait for ump who also might have a say in the outcome.

On May 18 Giants @ Padres was set at 6 and I took under and got Burned with a 7-6 final.
