Thanks for your picks I've tailed most
So it's not much of a repayment but I'll tell you something about AC/DC's family You may know it already but if not you might find it interesting
Back in 1966 there was a group out of Australia called the Easybeats They were something of a one hit wonder with a song named "Friday on My Mind". It was a top hit and is often rated as the best Rock and Roll from Australia when such type lists are put up If you've never heard it check it out it is a classic
What makes it interesting is that it was written by two lads named Harry Vanda and George Young
George Young was the older brother of Harry and Angus Young
The family grew up in Scotland before they emigrated to Australia Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits was also from Scotland His first big hit was a song called "Sultans of Swing". There is a stanza in it about two blokes named "Guitar George" and "Harry". It is a reference to Harry Vanda and George Young and even their hit song is cleverly referenced Hope you enjoyed the trivia and thanks for the work you share
The Youngs were Austrailian but they were origionally from Scotland

If you like AC/DC then check out Goodbye June. They sound very much like AC/DC. They state their number one influence was AC/DC. Check out songs "Oh, No", "Darlin", "Man of the Moment", "Daisy", "Step Aside" just to name a few...
I like Dodgers also. Good luck tonight!

And here's one more you may enjoy It's an old joke that lost it's bite as his carreer went on so it really only applies to the early part of his carreer
A man walks into a bar and orders a beer The barkeep gives him a nice cold one and he drinks it It was a very good lager so he says to the barkeep "Let me have another"
The barkeep says "Sorry my firiend, you can't have another" The man replies "No I'm fine that was my first beer" The barkeep says "How much you drank doesn't matter that's the only beer you get".
The man sits there a little shocked and says "I've never been in a bar that wouldn't give me more than one beer" a little indignant
The barkeeper walks down to where the man is sitting and leans towards him over the bar and says "Do you know who owns this bar ?" The man says "No" The barkeep replies "Lute Olson owns this bar and he has a strict policy: One round and you're out."
He was a great coach but I always think of that joke when I see his picture

Vanda owned the red Gretsch Jet Firebird double cutaway guitar that was given to George Young's younger brother Malcolm. This guitar, nicknamed "The Beast", saw numerous modifications and was Malcolm Young's primary guitar throughout his career with AC/DC.

George Redburn Young (6 November 1946 – 22 October 2017) was an Australian musician, songwriter and record producer. He was a founding member of the bands The Easybeats and Flash and the Pan, and was one-half of the songwriting and production duo Vanda & Young with his long-time musical collaborator Harry Vanda, with whom he co-wrote the international hits "Friday on My Mind" and "Love Is in the Air", the latter recorded by John Paul Young (who is unrelated).
Born in Glasgow, Young moved to Sydney, Australia with his family as a teenager, and became a naturalised citizen. He was also one of the producers of early work by the Australian hard rock band AC/DC, formed by his younger brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.
