Decided to make this a weekly thread in order to reduce the clutter of a season long thread. The original thread link will be on the bottom of this first post.
Year To Date:
All Plays: 28-20, 58.33%
Totals: 11-5 +5.19 Units
Games: 17-15 +2.66 Units
Avg Bet Run +/-: +0.15
Betting Philosophy:
To put it simply, we are looking for pure value. I do not believe in money plays when it comes to baseball. There are some plays I like more than others, and I will say when I like a play more-so than others. 2-0 on write-up plays last week. But I will still be betting the same unit on those plays as all my others. Over time, the small value edges will add up and we will be profitable.
Betting Amount:
I use a sophisticated betting system when it comes to baseball, at least more sophisticated that the average person. The most profitable way to bet baseball when flat betting (every play based around the same unit) is to have the average win/loss of a bet = your unit. Examples below for $100 bets.
Team is +200: Bet $75 - Win $125
Team is -150: Bet $120 - Win $80
Team is -100: Bet $100 - Win $100
You will need to base your bets the same way I do, depending on whatever unit you are using. For me personally, it is 2% of my bankroll on every play.
Best of luck, lets have another good week!

Please don't pay attention to all the degenerates who will pop up through the season to criticize solid capping. Most people here bet on Da Vinci Code Vegas Trap theories, and mock anyone who actually knows what they're doing (playing for value to profit the season as a whole)
Look forward to the picks! Good luck!

Line movement all in our favor. Instant value if you got them in early. Otherwise just play the totals. Padres new line still has some value. Very small.

Don't ever listen to someone who says you can't play a high volume and be successful in baseball. Averaging more than 6 plays per day and we are currently showing a plus value of a third of a run a game, as well as averaging 1.2 units a day. Lets keep killing it!
Wednesday, April 13th Plays:
Detroit Tigers +150 (Up to +135)
Los Angeles Dodgers -151 (Up to -155)
Washington Nationals -1.5 RL -110 (Up to -115)

My best line for those games was through my local who does not cancel unfortunately. If it was online it would have so I indeed count it. Early on it was against us as I had the A's when Gray got scratched and there was nothing I could do but let it ride.
Over the course of a season I figure it will balance out so I just count them if I place through my local.

Hey Krew, been following and loving it! Keep doing what you do brother!
Just a question further to the last couple posts...would you recommend that we place our bets with "action", or place them contingent on the starting pitchers?

Like your Thread Krew. Like the pitchers you have going today. I just have a hard time with the Rays becuase it seems when I bet them its like pulling teeth to get a run. GL I hope you cash both!

If you have the option to, always bet them contingent on the starter for the team you are betting. Never both starters, as it's rare when the team you are betting against loses its starter and a better starter replaces them.
I don't always have the option to, unfortunately but when I do that is what I do.
