I've had a terrible week, I'm 1-5 and the ways I lost could kill even the strongest minded person. For starters, I had the under of 9, in the Yankees Angels game when it was 3-1 in the 8th with 2 outs. The game ended 47-23 thanks to the "lefty specialist" Boone Logan. Somebody through 8 touchdowns in a baseball game. I went on tilt there after and sent it in.
So. With that being said.
Why is Kuroda an underdog. Lackey is not all that impressive and the last time these two met at Fenway, Yanks won 5-3. It was 5-1 and 2 late runs surrendered made the game closer than it was.
I have no idea why Lackey is -129. I guess the only way to get money on the Red Sox is to make him affordable. Kuroda is + money and it seems so fishy. I also see that EVERYBODY on this site is on the hot yanks and Kuroda. Makes no sense. They blow up Doubront last night who was throwing meatballs at 89, he even looked hurt throwing the ball. I personally feel The yanks at + money is a trap and that the Red Sox play their normal day baseball game. It looks too good to be true. I'm gonna go against everyone in this site, and against my own team and say Lackey is favored because he wins today.
Any thoughts are welcome, good luck to all.

Would still love to know how everyone doesn't see the yanks as a trap at + money. Makes no sense at all.
Books base their lines on a power rankings kind of system
You realize the Red Sox are both at home and far ahead of the Yanks in standings right?
You get about +30 for homefield advantage, +40 for how much better red sox have been this year vs yanks and -40 for the Kuroda advantage over Lackey. The line is right

I do realize these things. But it still is fishy with the way the yanks can't do anything wrong, and Boston is kinda slumping. Never lost 4 games in a row this season either. 10-0 at home following first home loss.

This same exact pitching matchup was played out exactly A month ago. Saturday day game. Yankees won 5-2 and this was when they weren't hitting and didn't have Soriano or A Roid even tho A Roid isn't much of A factor. Why People see this As A trap is beyond me. The numbers speak for themselves. Kuroda has only allowed 5 ER in his last 7 starts. Lackey has allowed 16 ER in his last 5 starts one of those was against the Yankees where he allowed 4. I agree 100% what whicks25 said. Think Its a trap all you want. You don't avoid betting because you think games are a trap. You avoid betting if you don't like the game. And you don't bet the other side cause you think the game is A trap. That's just silly

there a dog because the sox are better (9 more wins), there at home an lackey's numbers are not too shaby (3.32 era). Red Sox have a home field advantage. Line seems right although Ill be on yanks + money. Little nervous, play seems to popular for my taste

The Rays were 4-0 after losing 3 games and they went on to lose six b4 winning 1. They only lost 4 once, in the begining of April, until this six game slide. Much better games on the board.

public LOVES the Yankees today. Red Sox are favored. Pretty easy to see where Vegas is going to score their profit. Bosox best comeback team in baseball. I personally like Boston here in an important game within the standings.
