What does those 2 stats tell us......NOTHING

The first "trend" says the under is 7-1-1 after scoring 5 or more runs the previous game. But the Angels average 10 runs per game in Lackey's last 5 starts. So that trend probably stands for the past 2 years or more, and it henders it irrelevant to todays game.

The next "trend" is even more worthless because it pretty much states that the over hasnt hit back-to-back in 13 out of 18 games when the opponent gives up 5 runs to the Yanks. But the Yanks last 13 games the over has hit 10 times. And in a stretch of 5 (last Saturday to this past Wednesday) the Yanks scored 8,14,5,6,5 so that trend is incorrect because those were straight games were the over hit and if it were true then that trend went from 13-0-0 to 13-4-1 in the past week which devalues the "trend" significantly anyway.

But weeks before the Yanks scored 12 and 8 back to back and against Boston they scored 10 and 2 and both games were back to back overs.

So how about you do some research instead of relying on fraudalent "trends" that Covers has posted.

Lackey gives up 3 straight hits.  Then they give him a out by making Jeter sacrafice.  1 run inning only.

They then take Giese out with 83 pitches. 

First man up hits a HR.

3-2.  

Talk about a waste of a inning for the Yanks.

Why would they bunt? 

You get 3 hits to start the inning and only come away with a run?

Angels like that get 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th.  Pathetic.
