Has august been doing okay?
Dusting this off for your betting pleasure. Teams outscoring their opponent in the last inning (9th or after) the previous day:
Today (Friday, 3/29/2024):
ML 1st 5 = 3-0 (Pirates, Giants, Guardians)
ML = 3-0 (same teams)
I added ML 1st 5 this time to see how it does. Both went 3-0 today.
I’m not going to post everyday (if someone wants to, feel free) but this is a good one to keep in mind.
Tomorrow’s teams: Phillies, Blue Jays, Marlins, Yankees, Giants
Good luck!

Very interesting thread..
Very much interested in seeing the results again over the season.
I don't personally wager anything over the -110 very often.. juice will burn you over time.
I'll be following
Keep up the great work

LAD scored two in the 9th on Saturday, StL scored one in the 10th. Would LAD or STL have been the play Sunday? Also, does one carry over the 9th+ inning runs to the start of a new series the next day? Thanks.

@Sladerunningfox
A few plays today but the ones I like most are Cubbies ML and Yankees ML and possibly Pirates ML.
I remember seeing road teams were more favorable when you first began tracking this system. Thanks for bumping it

@Luckydan
Based on the Saturday game, the Cardinals would have been the play Sunday
Based on the Saturday game, the Cardinals would have been the play Sunday, because the last inning was the 10th.
This system was calculated on the next day, even if it was a new series.

So far:
ML 1st 5 = 8-8-2
ML = 8-10
So just remember, last year April and May finished around .500, but June really took off for some reason. So monitoring to see if the same holds true for this year.
Good luck!

@Sladerunningfox
Absolutely love Atlanta Braves tomorrow as it’s a double system for me but I’m sure the line will be at least -350 considering it’s Strider on the mound

I think we found a nugget within a nugget.
Teams outscoring their opponent in the last inning (9th or after) the previous day:
ML 1st 5:
Home = 1-12-1
So fading these teams:
12-1-1 (92.3%)
Overall record:
Total:
ML 1st 5 = 14-25-6 (35.9%)
ML = 22-22 (50.0%)
Home:
ML 1st 5 = 1-12-1 (7.7%)
ML = 4-10 (28.6%)
Road:
ML 1st 5 = 13-13-5 (50.0%)
ML = 18-12 (60.0%)
Today’s teams and the plays according to the numbers:
Home:
1. Cubs (fade Cubs ML 1st 5 - bet the Dodgers ML 1st 5)
2. Pirates (fade Pirates ML 1st 5 - bet the Orioles ML 1st 5)
Road:
3. Phillies (bet ML FG)
4. Mets (bet ML FG)
5. Blue Jays (bet ML FG)
6. Mariners (bet ML FG)
Right now I am betting all the Home ML 1st 5 fades.
Fading the Home ML FG and betting the Road ML FG would also be profitable.
Happy Eclipse Eve.
Good luck!
