Good night last night for the dog players again as good teams are just so overpriced right now.
2* Seattle -115 over Texas(8pm) - Feldman has been brutal just about every time he has toed the rubber as a starter this year. If there is a game Seattle should win, it is this one. You have your ace vs one of the worst starters in MLB this year. This is a good spot for Texas to rest their starters as facing King Felix can send anyone into a slump. Seattle has scored 13 runs in the last 2 games, so just maybe they have found their hitting shoes. With a small price like this, it is worth the chance.
2* LA Angels -125 over Oakland(10pm) - Haren has been lights out over his last 6 starts. Much like Lilly last night though his team is giving him no run support. Unfortunately we aren't getting 170 either on Haren. Braden pitched well last time out, but his 3 starts before that were atrocious. Many of the Angel hitters have solid #'s vs Braden. Oakland's bullpen is worn out from over use. The ump Danley has a 75% win rate favoring the home team(24-8)
2* Cubs +140 over San Diego(10pm) - Latos is fading down the stretch. Is it pressure of being the ace in his 1st pennant race?? Maybe. Is it his amount of innings catching up to him?? Probably a little of both. what ever it is, Latos has really struggled here down the stretch. Dempster has been the man on the road. His last 5 road starts, he is 5-0 w/0.79 ERA. San Diego is in another hitting funk and runs will be at a premium like they always are at Petco. 4-2 type of game here.
