lets just put it this way...I know we've heard this one before but if this isn't the year i'm not so sure this streak will ever be beaten. they are definitely balanced enough to go all the way, but my main concern is staying healthy up until and throughout the playoffs.

The Cubs can clinch by the weekend, where they will rest up their pitching.  Compared to last year and years before, this is what makes the difference.

NL CENTRAL is ours.  Gives the Cubs a lot of time to rest up for the postseason.

Cubs need to win the NL or it is a wasted season, IMO ! I went Friday, brutal to say the least. Zambrano better get his head right !

I was at the game Thursday when the Cubbies were down 6-2 on the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs and scored 4 runs to tie the game and went on to beat the Brewers in the 12th.  This team has heart and a never-say-die attitude, just like their fans.  We are the first team to clinch.
