Hi COVERS family, I am a longtime lurker and first time follower and I am here to provide insight and my own humble opinion and I hope you respect and find decisive agreement with my analysis. I only wager on MLB because it eliminates any odds/advantage the house has with spreads. It avoids a lot of the theories about fixed games and all that jazz. I hit at a very, very high % with MLB and I have my strongest play in my 10 years of wagering and I figure why not try to help out other hardworking citizens vs their books. The goal is to crush the books and what better way to give out my largest play ever made in the MLB. Im am wagering $4,000 on this play tomorrow and I have the most confidence I have ever made on a wager. I believe the boston Redsox are as close to a LOCK tomorrow, if such exists. I don't believe in guaranteed games, locks and all that hocus pocus. I believe the Redsox are determined to win their 1st world series at Fenway Park. I believe they take game 5 in St Louis and win Game 6 in Boston. I believe they are in Wainwright's head and have his pitched tipped off and have a great scouting report on him. They drilled him in Game 1 and I cant see any changes that can miraculously save him a week later seeing him. Lester has been lights out and will strike out these cards for the cancer that struck him and many others. This is MLB stand up for cancer and the Boston Redsox will get that parade they deserve for all the survivors, victims, and police officers for that horrific tragedy on The Boston Marathon. I believe its destiny for the Boston Redsox and Lester has been dominant in the playoffs..I am absolutely hammering the Boston Redsox tomorrow and in Game 6 and I hope you join me. I hit at an unbelievable rate with MLB, hence the reason its the only sport I wager on... HAMMER REDSOX FOR GAME 5 OF THE WORLD SERIES AND BEST OF LUCK!!!

Boston 2 units at +115 got to back Lester the lefty on the road and the bats are getting hot! Should be a 3-1 series with that lame call!

  Opinions negative and positive welcome and free to bash, but please at least have some intelligent counterproductive analysis as to why you disagree. Im interested in hearing what others think of this game. I think the fact the cards crying about Lester and this foreign substance is also going to make him all the more dominant tonight. I think lester is in the cards heads and I cant see Wainwright going from goat to hero after 1 week. I see him pitching a hair better, but love my chances with Sox tonight. BOL everyone

i'm on the Cards.  I like Wainwright a lot.  If the Sox win it will be on runs in relief of Adam.  His numbers are better then Lesters this year and last 5 as well. There at home which helps, great fans and motivational for players.  He lost once to these guys and when I hear him speak I get a sense that that last loss has been tearing him up and being a winner he will be coming out very prepared against the Beards.  Lester is a nice pitcher, but nothing phenomenal.  No one is ripping, tonight will be the same as last night will come down to a big play from someone like Gomes did yesterday

This is the 10th time that St. Louis has been in this position and has won Game 5 just four times. However, it has gone on to win the series in eight of those instances.

Boston, meanwhile, has been tied 2-2 three other times and has lost the series on all three occasions, despite winning Game 5 twice.

...Lester gave the Red Sox the early advantage in this series, as he scattered five hits over 7 2/3 scoreless innings to nail down the Game 1 win and improve to 3-1 this postseason, while lowering his ERA to 1.67.

He is also 2-0 lifetime in the World Series and has yet to allow a run in 13 2/3 innings.

So let me see if I gathered this correctly.... because St. Louis hasn't had a natural disaster or a bombing lately, the city of Boston deserves this more.


You know what....St Louis will win this one for Joplin Missouri

Really? The house keeps its advantage by adjusting how high the line is. Unless somehow you are always getting -105 to -110 on all your MLB wagers all season long this statement is garbage. Not to mention that a spread can give you an extreme edge if you are taking a dog in a certain situation.

wow! what a spot to make it your biggest game of year.  i'm a redsox fan, however, know enough to pick the right spot.  ive been on the right side every game thus far.  with that said, this is as MUST a game for the cards as it gets.  if wainwright loses to sox again does one think the cards will go to bean town and win 2.  wainwright will not repeat the dismile performance he had in game 1 and lester will not pitch zeros tonight.  this game is a sweat job.  it's a no play for me.  but, gun to head i'd say cards 4-3.  as predicted week ago, REDSOX in 7....................
