They have the best pitching in baseball and love playing at home in their park. 

I THINK they go on a run and the Astros have a tough week.

This Astros team who started 7-19 and seems to leave runners all over the bases. Their offense is very unpredictable and to me light hitting. They will turn back into the team who started the season

The Mariners seem to really really like this guy Dan Wilson and I expect another beat down tonight on the poor Devil Ray's who have been stuck on the road for weeks 

And the new hitting coach Edgar Martinez is paying dividends

They are playing way more aggressive and on the bases . Looking for bunts and any way to get on

I think they are in a good spot to win the AL WEST STILL.

After Seattle takes this Wednesday game vs Tampa Bay,  they'll play their next 7 at Anaheim and Oakland, they'll certainly go 5-2 or 6-1, and all of the sudden they're right back in it.  September baseball is where the cream rises to the top.  

Months ago I was very intrigued by this division and have been eyeing it like. a hawk, decided to go with Astros -150 ML when they were like 4 games back. The only team I was scared of was the rangers but now they are out of it. Astros are playing 2 more series with the angels and one more with the athletics and also the reds. Your gonna have to hope Astros lose 6 out of the 9 series left and Mariners gotta go 19-10 and win the Atros series. Good luck to you your gonna need it!

Unbelievable Seattle started the season 3-0 against Anaheim then proceeds to go 2-8 in these crucial games for 5-8 season series loss to the scrubs.

But Seattle is 5-1 vs Texas, 4-2 vs Oakland and 6-4 vs Houston.   Of they can take care of the remaining division games especially Houston, and 1 win against them gives them the season series and first tiebreaker 

Big series for marines 4 games at Oakland coliseum.   Seattle has had Oakland number for a while and so if they win 3/4they in good shape.  But of they sweep all 4 games , then almost certainly the MOJO is cometh and al west division will be right there for the imminent taking.

It's going to be a sprint to the finish.

Here come the Mariners.  Houston Astros are finished, after tonight it will only be a 5 game lead with Seattle owning the tiebreaker.

The playoffs are coming to safeco field for the 2nd time in 3 years.
