And for the record, because no one will answer my simple question. IT WAS MIKE TROUT THAT STRUCK OUT FOR THE US TEAM THAT ENDED THE GAME AND THE TOURNAMENT. None other than Mike Trout!!! I mean, who else would it have been??? Tony gwynn, Frank Thomas,????

Imagine this!!!??? Over a two-week span if trout faced the the braves, Arizona, then Boston. Imagine trout facing back to back to back to back, Maddux, glavine, smoltz, schilling, big unit, clemens then Pedro. Trout would strike out 21 times in 2 weeks. Probably more. People think he's great, the best in his generation. Nope, nowhere near greatness. 

Trout is fully healthy, he will have more strikeouts than hits AGAIN this year, his average will be under 300, his team will be in last place. Then he will go back to philadelphia, and watch the weather channel because that's all he cares about. I'm glad he's not on my Rangers, because they would not have won the world series if he was on their team. Because he strikes out in key situations and only Hits meaningless home runs against Oakland in the middle of July

Anyone someone explain to me, since I don't know much about baseball someone claims. How can a major League hitter strikeout seven times in a row. Do you realize how hard it is to k seven times in a row. Ask Rafael devers? He couldn't do it. Matter of fact, only one person has ever done it. And we all know who that one person is?? Do I really have to say his name? It is tremendously hard to strike out seven times in a row. But it's been done?! Lol

 Quick google search tells me that he isn't the first, nor the only person to strike out 7 straight ABs.  But as hard as striking out 7 times in row is (probably not very hard for us normies), wouldn't it be harder to win 3 MVPs, be runner up for MVP four other seasons, and then still be in the top five in two other years?  So 9 years as a top 5 player in your league?  I get it, he strikes out a lot now.  So does everyone else.  That's the baseball world we live in now.  HR or K.  Teams don't care if you strikeout 200 times a season anymore.

You are calling a guy from age 20 to 30 slashed .305/.418/.592 having a 178 OPS+ while stealing 200 bases at almost an 85% clip overrated...................Thats embarrassing in itself 

And 2nd, No teams can not offer contracts to players under contract with other teams without permission, thats just common sense

 With a quick Google search, Rick Ankeil struck out 10 times in a row. My beef again is??? No one is saying Rick Ankeil is the best player in baseball and his generation. No one is claiming him to be great. People are claiming trout to be the greatest of his generation. Anyways, you can have him on your team. I hope you like being in last place. Because that's all you will get from him. You want more proof? Check the standings in September again this year. I'll let it play out again. Watch what Mike Trout's average will be in September. Just let it play out dude. You'll see.

And one more little tidbit which I find hilarious since everyone thinks trout is great! Willie Mays had 3223 hits, 1526 k's. Trout won't come close to 3K hits. He will end his career with about 2000 hits. And 2200 k's. Yet people believe he's better than Willie Mays.

 Trout gets hurt every year and spends 90 days on the DL.  Maybe this is the year he can stay healthy. 

Trout can go 0 for his next ~450 and still have a better on base % than Mays despite all those strike outs

Example, Frank Thomas faced probably 15-17 Hall of Fame pictures during his career.  trout has basically faced three Hall of Fame pitchers. Verlander, Kershaw and scherzer. Go look at his stats versus those three guys. I'll give you one so you will laugh. Trout versus scherzer. 16 at bats, 10ks. That's hilarious. Look at his stats versus the other two Hof pictures he has faced. Because it's more comedy. But nooooo. People love Mike Trout, they think he's the greatest player in this generation. Lol

 Was trout healthy when he faced Scherzer with those 16 at bats and 10ks. Was he healthy then? Was he healthy when he faced Verlander with those 43 at bats ,5 hits and .116 batting average with numerous strikeouts. Was he healthy then???
