Epic thread and game last night. In a way I feel like we stole it in the 8th with Seager's 3 run bomb. Although, the other part of me doesn't think they should have been down 2 runs to begin with. Heaney pitched really well and his defense kept letting him down. I can't remember the last time I saw 3 routine fly balls so badly dropped or misplayed in one game. It was like watching 9 drunk little kids out there. Def wasn't how I thought it'd go down, but I'll take a win any way I can get it.
Lastly, thanks for all the nice post game comments. I read them all and appreciate it.
On to today's play. I've got to get to a meeting, so just a few quick points:
1) I've mentioned in previous posts that I think both these teams are pretty good. However, I also think they're both slightly overrated given the fast starts they've had.
2) I have Milwaukee as the more overrated team. Of all the division leaders, they have the worst run differential at +20. KC on the other hand is at +45 and it appears they play in the tougher division.
3) Colin Rea is part of the overrated issue. He's a decent pitcher, but he's not as good as his numbers. He's showing some regression and I expect it to continue. I faded him before and I'll do it again here.
4) Seth Lugo on the other hand has always been solid. But, he's taken it to another level this year. He's mixing his pitches up better than ever and the word around the league is how good he's been at changing speed. Guys just can't time him. That's why he's given up 2 or fewer runs in all but one game and is sitting on a 5-1 record with a 1.60 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. The sample size is now large enough to say, yes he's an All Star and likely a Cy Young candidate.
5) Milwaukee has lost 3 in a row and now they get Lugo. Let's kick em while they're down and make that a 4 game losing streak.
I'm on KC at -122 for 6 units.
Cheers and BOL to all

@TheLorenaKid - I agree. No matter what you're doing - more often than not, you'll have good results if you have good energy. People ask me about totals a lot. And I always say I'm not a totals guy. Probably haven't bet one in over 5 years. Based on the players from Milwaukee that have seen Lugo, I think he'll pitch well. They're hitting 189 against him. Rea is the wildcard imo. Sorry, I can't help you more, but BOL if you play it
