Is Gamehunter so thin skinned that he can't have criticism of his picks? I seriously doubt it. I can't imagine that GH wants nothing but cheerleading in his threads.

Good analysis Rakki Maka Koa. I was thinking the same thing when I saw everybody jump on TuxAubrey for his post.

I read his first post as I'm sure the others bashing him did'nt. He questioned the Yankee -1.5 pick earlier in the thread and IMO was trying to rationalize that play. He tailed GH and today and lost but he chose to follow GH because he knows GH is. So what he posted that he lost and was upset by it. I didn't see bash GH about it. Maybe you guys think just him posting what he did was enough to deserve criticism, but I beleive that maybe a better look at the whole picture would have brought all the bashers to a better understanding.

I know I might catch heat for this but if so I can handle it. I'll be waiting for any Bashers in the parking lot after the show if you got something to say to me.

Glad you had a good time at the new ball park...sorry to have to spend  up to $200. on hot dogs and beer/pop....too pricey for me...I will be traveling to PHx this sat for the d-backs/giants....last time I was there bonds went deep early and it was all over...This time no bonds  no big unit....small ball...

I welcome any and all comments debating games and telling me why maybe the other side has merit, as I too, learn from people or get insight that may help me. Just the other day my man Pinnacle provided some strong facts on Greinke (who currently looks like the 2nd coming of Cy Young) and I decided not to try and beat him and instead took the under and turned a loser inot a winner.

Unfortunately, as much as I love Covers, I can't respond to every post nor do I necessarily see every post until it is much too late.

Regarding poster with negativity and BS, I am going to do my best to ignore them and appreciate when some of the friends in my friend clean up the "riff raff" (my favroite character on Underdog by far) for me.

Regarding Tex Aubrey. The comments he provided are typical of ones that I ignore. Maybe he didn't intend them to be rude but here are my thoughts.

1. What value does it add when you ask a question in my thread as to why I took the Yankees at -1.5 runs and commenting on it being a bad play when the game is already in the 4th or 5th inning and the Yanks are down 3-0? I can't go back and change my play.

2. In my initial post starting this thread, I said I was going to be at Yankee Stadium and stated that I was making the play mostly because I was going to be at the game and wanted some action; however, I will say that is was far from random and a lot of thought went into the selection, just like every other selection.

3. Why ask me a question in the 4th or 5th inning on line when I said I was going to be at Yankee Stadium with my kids? You knew I wasn't in front of a computer so what was the intent of such a post?

4. You then complained about how yesterday was a complete shitfest. Sorry I can't win everyday. I don't' consider dropping less than 2 units a shitfest especially when I won almost 10 units the day before. My goal is to win over the course of the season. If you want to tail me for any one given day, that is your problem. I am here to grind out a profit and if I win 10 units or lose 10 units, I take in stride and manage the peaks and values to maximize my efficiency over the long haul.

5. I don't have thin skin and my philosophy here is to mingle with friends and respectful people who share insight and to ignore others who provide no value or are negative. You may be a good guy and I welcome your input, but I really don't need input in the 5th inning of a game or compalining when I have a losing day. I can assure you on my losing days, I lose a lot more than you so I will not feel bad about your loss, particulaly when I have never seen you here before.

I have to disagree about GH liking the criticism. I think GH likes it if people have differing opinions and
can give him logical reasons as to why. There is a big difference between that and coming into his thread after the games are played.
I don't really think TaxAubrey meant his comment the way it came across but here you have a guy who admits to just tailing (in other words no time or effort in his own picks) yet he has the gall to say that GH must not have put enough time into the picks he made.
That is just pathetic and wrong on so many levels.

It never ceases to amaze me how people who are getting a proven winner's picks for FREE day in day out at a fairly consistent time and winning VERY OFTEN can even find the GUTS to complain when things don't go right - one day, 3 days or a month - stop your whining, nobody OWES YOU anything ... you don't like the picks, choose your own...

None of us mentioned the irony of it all.

The Yankees won 7-3 and covered the 1.5 runs.

In baseball I laugh off every tough beat and laugh about every lucky win...they all should balance out.....it's the nature of baseball...I honestly don't get caught up and stressed out about any given day or week.....wait to see what happens the day I go 1-7 and drop like 9 units (it will happen).....then this thread will be even funnier.
