Washington is currently +131 at matchbook and you only got +118.

Come on now!

I got FLA at -117 this morning at Matchbook. Same situation with the insane odds for ARI and Scherzer last week when the line opened up +145 for ARI and dipped to +120 by game time

wish you were available earlier when I was questioned on how I got -119 on Florida this morning.

Congratulations on an excellent start to the season.  I have a question for you.  I saw several people mention yesterday the possibility of you hangin up your cleats since your picks were being ripped off by a tout.  I think that is BS and I personally sent that douchbag an email.  

Now, I have no idea whether you would actually do that or even if you were considering that, but a couple of years back, a very well respected capper here (Buffettgambler) had the same thing happen and they quit putting out their baseball picks.  However, when the NFL rolled around that year and the next, they continued to put out those picks.  I have been unable to figure out their philosophy of not putting out MLB but continuing on with other picks.  Would you continue with other sports or hang it up completely?  Only thing that I can figure is that they went out in baseball on an extremely great run and they are trying to find that holy grail in another sport so they can be considered one of the greats of all time.

Do you have any other reasoning?  I mean if you're done then you should be done.

Yea you were close there loser.  Why don't you get yourself a life and realize that GameHunter is the man and you are a loser who wants the attention that he gets.   The difference is that he is a genius who is already up 35+ units and you are wrong about everything you say. 

 

What this guy fails to realize is that even if GH goes 3-5, he still MAKES MONEY.....the Rangers alone bring it to even and then the other plus money plays push it to the good side....and if he goes 6-1 or 5-2 (1 postponed).....thats MAJOR

Luder...always good to see you...I like seeing the guys that go back a few years with me.....I don't think I ever said I was quitting at all...all I said is people taking my plays and trying to sell them for their own profit really takes the fun out of this.....

Regarding other sports, I have to be honest about my future plans here at Covers. I am hoping for another successful baseball season. Then in the fall I will dabble in CFB and the NFL (actually had my best NFL season in years this past year) as those two sports aren't a daily grind but I intend to lounge out during most of the CBB, NBA and NHL seasons. This was my first losing CBB season in years and quite frankly, I just can't keep up the daily grind 12 months a year. With my kids growing and getting past the years where they nap and go to bed early, I prefer to spend time with them and not as much time here all year...however, I am still a degenerate for baseball and love crunching numbers so I will stick with it at least until July.

Good picks, GH. I knew I shouldn't have gone against you with ATL/WAS. Thought Kawakami would confuse Washington more than he did. And the 2nd and 3rd no out in the 9th was BRUTAL.
