It's what I keep advocating.. use exchanges not books.. In the UK and Canada, people can use betfair.com and they're one of the biggest, if not THE biggest exchanges in the world. Not much liquidity on baseball on that exchange though but if you put up the price you want, it should still get matched before and in play.Haven't had a chance to look at matchbook in more details but sounds similar..

If you don't like what I post, don't read my threads!!!!!

Houston, despite no having a winning record on the road the last two seasons, has been profitable for their backers posting an away record of 61-65 for +13.1 Units. During the second half of the season the last two years, they have been solid going 60-41 for +23.7 Units.

The Astros will send Roy Oswalt to the bump with his 6-4 record and ERA of 3.66 on the season. He will face a Cubs team that is ranked 25th in hitting, averaging .252 at the plate and scoring 4.3 runs per game. Oswalt is 4-2 on the road with an ERA of 3.37 and 1-0 his last three outings with an ERA of 2.86, with the Astros 3-0 behind him over that span.

He is also 15-4 (+10.9) during the second half of the season the last two years and 23-4 (+18.3) when facing a winning team with a win percentage of 51-54 percent.

Chicago will send Ryan Demptser to the hill with his 5-5 record and ERA of 4.09. Dempster is 4-1 at home this season with a 4.12 ERA but over his last three trips to the mound he is 1-1 with an ERA of 4.91 while the Cubs are 1-2 behind him over that span. The Cubs are 2-5 in his last seven as a favorite in this price range, 1-5 in Dempster’s last six overall and 0-9 if he is coming off a quality start in his last outing.

With support for the visitor coming from both the fundamental and technical elements, we will back the Astros here as they get the Game 2wo victory at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night.

Replacing it with
UNDER DET/TEX 1st 5 inns 5.5 (-101) (1.75 UNITS)(French and Mathis)

Mathis may be even a better bet considering has has thrown 16 straight scoreless innings in relief.

Malinsky interviewed on Sirius (Morency) just now claimed Jason Marquis told a Colorado reporter that he was "not feeling good enough to start" but plans to go anyway
