I'm in a tremendous cold streak and the luck is not getting much better.
The Cubs -1.5 runs have a 5 run lead in the 6th inning and the game gets called
and the bet is cancelled. Seattle's 3-0 lead in the 7th evaporated quickly also
in a 403 loss. Something has to change. Proceed with caution.
I would be remiss in not mentioning AJ's decision to move in a
different direction. I wish him the best of luck. Certainly not the path I would
choose but I understand his reasoning and I wish him the best of luck. He's a
good kid and was a true asset this forum and will be missed.
UNDER GRAND SALAMI 142 RUNS (2.75 UNITS) -
It's very rare I play the Salami but it just jumped out at
me today. First off, it's getaway day which often leads to managers resting
players and also umpires excited to catch flights. Most importantly, I see a
bevy of "under" umpires today and several teams with major injuries and missing
players. In SF today we get Miller who is 12-3 UNDER his last 15, 21-12 UNDER
last year and 82-58 UNDER the past 3+ years. In Philly, we get Bell who is 23-16
UNDER the past 1+ years. In Colorado we get Barry who is 12-2 UNDER his last 14.
In LAA, we get Onora who is 27-16 UNDER the last 1+ years. In Texas we get
Muchkinski who is a career 17-6 UNDER. In Arizona, we get Merriweather who is
25-16 UNDER the past 1+ seasons and 78-60 UNDER the past 3+ seasons. In Oakland
we get Eddings who is 80-62 UNDER the past 3+ seasons. In KC, we get Bill Hohn
who is 21-13 UNDER the past 1+ seasons and 42-28 UNDER the past 3+ seasons. In
Cincy, we get Estabrook who is 18-9 UNDER the past 3+ seasons. At Wrigley we get
Carlson who is 59-47 UNDER the past 3+ seasons.
As for injuries, the Mets are without Delgado, Reyes abd Beltran. The
Brewers are without Braun and Weeks and possibly Hardy. The Cards are still
without Ludwick, Ankiel, Glaus and Molina will probably sit. The Reds are
missing Brandon Phillips. Carlos Quentin is out for the White Sox. Derrek Lee is
battling the flu for the Cubs. Hansley Ramirez is doubtful for the Marlins.
Casey Blake is doubtful and Rafael Furcal is ?. Adrian Gonzalez is ? for the
Pods. Pablo Sandoval is out for the Giants. Barlett and Iwamura are out for the
Rays.
St. Louis and Oakland both don't hit lefties.
Just a ton of factors for the UNDERS.

There's weather all over the place and all games must be complete for the Salami to be graded as "action". Your logic and reasoning for the play is excellent.......I'd hate to see it all be moot.

I can already see it now. It will go 25 runs under but one game will be called after 6 innings and the bet will be cancelled.

I like the card a lot sir. StL/MIL scares the hell out of me, even with the sitters, because Wellemeyer and Parra are both implosion capable at any time. Other than that, I think we match up a lot, so GL to you

GH, always feels comforting to see you on a bunch of plays I had already put in before you posted...best of luck today...I added the Salami...I also am leaning towards 1H under for Pads/Dbacks...both these teams have no offense yet have scored the past 2 games, Buckner looked good last outing...Peavy is Peavy...and Merriweather is a big under ump...reason I lean towards 1H is I am afraid these bullpens will butcher the game under.
