Well , I finally got the 7 is was waiting for, but it was not enough.

I did press the game at 6 ' live for a little profit. Lotta runners left

on base in this one , and to that end, I'm thankful for the push. 

Didn't see the play till the 5th inning, got 6.5 live, so got the winner, thanks again!

 Glad you got it. I finally got  7 about 20 min. before the game started.

Thanks Colonel. I managed to buy a few plays yesterday on openers,

but I was getting NFL draft props bet last night, and was unable to post

them. Now the numbers I bet them at are no longer available . I could

post them , but It's probably not helpful to anyone  to post them now.

I will  always be an advocate of betting early openers when I think that on

openers, I'm likely to get the best number that will be available , and I'll use

this  to cite an example.

On openers yesterday , I made the following wager :

967    Toronto     ov   8     - 115

The line on this currently is :

967    Toronto     ov   9     - 125

FWIW , I try  to always be prepared to pull the trigger on openers when I

feel that is likely to be my opportunity to capture the best available price.

 Toronto/KC is being offered at +100 on o9 and -150 on o8, what do you think of those lines?

I feel you on this!! I was wanting to take SF o7.5 on open instead decided to wait to do a bit more research and now its 8.5. got to jump on those early lines!

The problem with 9 + 100 , or 8 - 150 are the numbers are not favorable

to the bettor on this play. If I had to choose , I'd take the 8 over. In this

matchup you are looking at 2 good pitchers trying to deal with a severe

wind advantage to the hitters. You are being asked to pick your poison ,

a higher number  with less juice or a  lower number at - 150. IMO, if I

had to choose , I would always take the 8 over the 9 , but at - 150 , I

would probably look for other opportunities instead.

Funny that you brought this up. I also have  961    Mets   ov  7 '  - 110 ,

which I bought last night at Circa. I used to hesitate on making wagers

trying to find a little more data to confirm a play , but as you stated ,

I found myself getting stopped out of too many plays. Right now, I'm

working on tomorrow's card so I will be prepared when Overnights

come out this afternoon. I will be ready to bet them.

FWIW , A word of caution about overnight lines. It is to your advantage

have  in mind a  number that you NEED to make a play.If you find that

number on openers, that's fine, but any number can go both ways as

this is a market . It pays to know which way the market is likely to trend

to on any play you are interested in making , and then determine when

to make the play. This will save you as a bettor a  lot , especially on

moneyline plays.

Condolences to all who wagered on the Yankees today , as once again they

were underachievers. The Yankees and the Dodgers are two teams that I try

very hard not to wager on as  it is hard for me to determine at which time they

will choose to show up and compete.
